Chapter ninty

Derek was very intrigued there was much of Joshua that he hadn't found out about and was eager to do so. He had been close to him and that means he knew almost everything that Joshua had planned out.

His return, after the incident and all, changed him from the prodigal Derek to the responsible one.

"I'm curious what you've done in your early life." He tugged his arm.

Joshua turned to his left on the road that led to the garden, it was filled with creepers and ferns and herbs.

"I met with clients and did all sorts of deals that weren't favourable. I was certain. But not super bad things. You know what is bad is not having a choice of your own. And I did have mine. Clients will want to use your head, manipulatively contrived that is them, and in the end, abandon you. And you need these things because it's your right.''

He was reminding him that whatever he was doing he was doing it because the world doesn't like lenient people.
