Chapter thirty-one

Members of the Mason family were gathered round the dining table in the morning.

"What was all that?" Mrs Mason said.

"For a split second, I believed that Joshua was Mr Hunter's son."

She pours the hot water into the cup and was mixing it with the coffee powder.
