Chapter thirty-two

Pamela glanced at Joshua in disbelief. "You can't be doing this to me." She muttered as the shock on her face instantly changed to a frown expression with indifference.

"It's okay if you still don't accept me or don't believe me, Pam," Joshua said, folding his hand on the table and reaching for her hand, his gaze burdened and concerned.

"What was there to celebrate? Our failed marriage? Or the fact that I'm trying hard to keep up a happy smile while sneaking out with you, the fact that no one acknowledges me because I am still not sure about my decisions."

"Please Pamela, as much as you're burdened, I'm hurt too. I can imagine."

"No, no you don't Joshua, you never do." She begged sucking in a deep breath that turned to chuckle at first.

"I do and I'm trying to make up for my failed times as your man." He whispered to her, his fingers catching into her hand. It's not how he wanted to be but he still has to put on the big panties to do what is required.
