Chapter Eighty-two

Sophia stood in front of the empty casket, surrounded by the members of the Blade in Shadows, the secret organization that Jackson had led.

She felt their eyes on her, some with pity, some with curiosity, some with envy.

She knew they were wondering what would be of her, it’s been three weeks since the incident on the bay.

She looked at the casket, covered with white flowers.

Jackson's body was never found, but there was no doubt that he was gone. She had lost him forever.

"What are you going to do now?" he asked.
