Chapter Eighty-one

The car was hanging precariously over the edge of the bridge, as the river below roared and raged.

Jackson and Fernando were trapped inside, their doors locked.

Jackson looked at Fernando, he knew he had to make a choice. He had to save him, even if it meant sacrificing himself. He had already lost too much in his life. He couldn't bear to lose Fernando too.

"Only one of us can make it out the window of the car, and you have to go. Save yourself," Jackson said, as he reached for the broken glass.

"No, boss, you go," Fernando said, shaking his head. He was bleeding from a wound on his forehead, and his eyes were filled with pain and fear.

"You're the leader of the Blade in Shadows. You have to stop them. You have to find out who Wilson is, and why they're after us."

"I can't let anyone else I care about die. Get out of here, Fernando," Jackson said, as he grabbed Fernando's arm. He tried to pull him towards the window, but Fernando resisted. He was too loyal, too stubborn, too brav
