Chapter 22

Luther slides into his car, his engine purrs to life as he speeds off. He navigates through the opulent neighborhood that he had seen Austin earlier on. As he drives, Luther's mind buzzes with questions. The image of Austin in this affluent neighborhood has ignited a spark of curiosity.

"Why would a maid come out of there when Austin went there for a job? Luther mutters, his brows furrows in contemplation. Perhaps Austin had lost the job, a suggestion that seemed to align with the presence of the maid entering and leaving the house. Yet, Luther wanted to be sure. He needed to be certain before drawing conclusions.

Parking discreetly at a distance, Luther observes the entrance of the upscale resident. Luther cannot shake the thought that there is more to Austin's connection with this affluent neighborhood that meets the eye.
