96. A Fu*cking Truth

Mr. Walter was a little taken aback by Leo's words. But a few seconds later, he laughed awkwardly.

"No way. How can you think he hates you?" asked Mr. Walter.

Leo let out a small hiss and pretended to think even more. His index finger was now tapping his own temple.

"I don't want to judge him badly either, Mr. Walter. But, when I spoke with Mr. Jonsen a few minutes ago, I felt that resentment. He didn't seem to accept my presence as a major investor," Leo retorted.

Having said that, Leo lifted his face and straightened his gaze to match Mr. Walter's. While focusing his eyes on one point, he read the notification on the system screen.
