“We’re about to enter the outskirts. Get ready,” Nikko uttered.
The three proceeded to the Plains Settlement. As they walk deeper inside the Settlement, the aura can be felt changing. Eerie and uneasy air become more condensed as they walk toward the parts where the residences are more concentrated.
It can be observed that the houses and structures in the place were not in good condition and were not properly built. The materials used were just patches of scrap metals and wood. There are lots of junks nearby.; you can hardly even tell which one is a house and which are rubbles.
Meanwhile, the residents are just scattered in the place. Some are just sitting behind the little peepholes of their houses - staring blankly at the ghastly streets. Most are out sitting on the streets - staring randomly with their drugged eyes, blending in with the rubbles and junks.

Mika and Orixa were surprised by Nikko’s answer. “I think I heard that there’s a kidnapping incident happening nearby,” Nikko added. “Really!?” Orixa’s reaction. “Wow! We just got here and it’s happening already! This Mission will be faster than we thought,” Orixa uttered. The conversation between Coco and the wounded player continued. Mika, Nikko, and Orixa moved to the crowd to listen closer to the conversation. “We should get him this time!” a player from the crowd uttered. “That bastard! He always does what he wants!” another shouted. “Capture that man!” another yelled. The cheering continued. When the crowd saw that three Scouts were coming closer, they suddenly went silent. The crowd just stared as the three walked to speak to Coco. “Co
“I really remember that face of yours! Weren’t you the boy in the First Station? The one I saw playing at the entrance of the First Portal?....” The boy didn’t respond. He just continues stepping backward. “And as I remember, you were playing with another boy. Was he your friend? Where is he now?” Mika interrogated. Her assertive tone suddenly changed into a more concerned one. “Who cares!? I already killed him!” the boy shouted at Mika. Mika was shocked by the boy’s answer. The boy ran away to the shadowy parts of the area. “Should I chase him?” a player asked Skald. “No… let him be,” Skald answered. Mika is still in a state of shock. She’s just staring at the air. “Mimi, Come on. We should go,” Orixa whispered as she hugged Mika’s arm and led her back to the Tave
“Uh-huh… So… there’s only one kidnapper in there? He sounds very powerful to do it alone,” Raft’s reaction to the Report. “Yes… Super strong!” Orixa affirmed. “Well… okay. Regarding the ‘aftereffects’ that Coco mentioned, I’ll study more about it. For now, I don’t notice any significant behaviors from our friends that I might correlate to the past Event,” Raft said. “It’s good to hear that everyone is doing fine there,” Mika said. “Yes. We’re fine here. Everyone looks okay… Except - I think… Tusha?” “Tusha? Why? What about her?” Mika asked. “I don’t know… She’s acting weird for a normal player. She still gives us wacky answers whenever we ask her questions about her.” “Oh, I see… same as before?” “Yes! She keeps telling about ‘Rath’s Return’ and other mystical beings, and ‘her people’s o

Mika looked at the old man with a confused face. The man looks like he’s in his late age. However, the old man seems like he still has his beef inside him as can be observed by his well-rounded body and sharp posture. He is holding a long weird-looking stick. “If I were you, I would move away from that child as soon as I can,” the old man warned. “Huh?” Mika uttered. But then, she followed the old man’s warning. She stepped away from the girl. Suddenly, the little girl stood up like a spring. The girl looked at the old man and yelled, “Damn you, Old Geezer! I almost have her!” The little girl ran away after that. Mika was surprised. “Woah! What just happened!?” “I told you!” The old man said with a seemingly playful tone. Then, he let out a weird chuckle, “Wo
Mika and Skald stayed inside the Tavern.*cough* *cough*“You don’t look too good,” Mika concernedly said to Skald.“Nah! It’s just a common cough. Would be gone after a day or three. *cough*”“You should rest at least.”Skald replied, “I’ll feel much worse if I lay my body on the bed. This, however...” He raises the mug of beer that he is drinking. “...This will give my body the energy it needs! Haha!”Mika is weirded by Skald’s strange belief. She chose not to persuade him any longer. A short silence happened after that. Later on, Mika decided to speak again; she used the opportunity to ask Skald about the information she heard from the old man.“Skald… What do you know about the Rubbles?”“Oh,
“What? You found him? Is it true?” Mika’s surprised reaction.“Yes.”Orixa and Mika still couldn’t believe it.“How? How did you find him, Nikku?” Orixa asked.“I tracked him too.”“Hm?”“I followed you and the others to the building,” Nikko said to Orixa.“You were following us in our investigation? But why didn’t you just join us?”Nikko didn’t answer the question.Mika answered Orixa’s question, “Uuuhh… It’s just him… being him. Nikko being Nikko.”“Uh-huh… But we didn’t even feel you trailing us.”“...”“What did you do then? We wer
One kid suddenly draws a knife out of his pocket.“I told you! Don’t try to stop me! It’s my decision! Mind your own business!”“You’re stupid, Spike! You don’t know what you’re into! They’re just brainwashing you! You idiot!”“Stop mocking me or I’ll stab this knife in your throat!”“Quit it, Spike! I know they got Auntie Cecilia. But if you don’t get out of there, you’ll probably end up in a bad condition!”“You don’t know what you’re saying. I said leave me alone!”“Tch! F*cking idiot!”“Say that again I will really kill you!”“You moron!”The kid lost it. He charges as he attempts to stab the other kid. But then,

“Are… Are you sure you want me to stay here?” “Yep! Don’t worry, Mr… erm… Papa! While you’re still undergoing Lumine’s special medication, you can stay here in the camp,” Arii answered the worried Papa. “But - But… What if this weapon will control me again? What if I go nuts again!?” Papa worriedly asked. “Don’t worry, Sir. We’ll do everything we can to contain you if that happens,” Orixa answered. “While we’re still finding a way to remove that Scythe for you, we can assure you that you’ll be safe in our camp.” “O-okay!” “Uhm… Mr. Papa. We learned what happened to you and your family. We’re sincerely sorry for your loss. But, uhm… you know, our Little Tommy also lost his family. Maybe it may help both of you if you were to act as his father and take care of him,” Arii said. Arii’s words put a smile on Papa’s face. “Su - sure! Where is he?” he answered. “He’s inside his room. You want to visit him?” Orixa asked. Papa nodded his head. Moments later, “Hey, Tom - Tom. Somebody w
The players arrived at the Base’s Main Laboratory. The laboratory is quite vast and well-structured for just a recently-built facility. Lots of machines and apparatus can be found inside the lab.Lumine and Tusha are in the laboratory.“Raft! Everyone!” Lumine greeted her friends.“Lumine! Arii said that you went with them voluntarily. We thought you already betrayed us *cough*,” Virgo said.“No! I would never!” Lumine answered.Arii bowed in shame. “Sorry if I misunderstood what happened, guys,” she apologized.“No, it’s okay Arii. It’s also my fault that I left without a proper explanation. I left you to worry,” Lumine said.“So… There must be a deeper reason why you’re here…” Raft uttered.“Actually… there is,” Lumine answered as she looked at Tusha.“Oh - yeah! I remember you said that Tusha is a BBC,” Frenz said.Everyone is confused. “BBC!?” they uttered in unison.“The robot thing?” Frenz added.“It’s NPC, Frenz,” Arii corrected.Mario is giggling at the corner. “BBC - the heck
“Giiiiiirl!!!” Frenz yelled as he came to approach Mika. “Girl, I like your new powers,” he complimented.Mika didn’t respond. She just stared at Frenz awkwardly.“Uhm… Mika? Hellooooo? Are you okay?”Suddenly, tears start rolling from Mika’s eyes. She suddenly hugged Frenz. “Freeeenz! I’m sorry! I didn’t know you were suffering that much!” she sobbed.Frenz is confused by the situation. “Uhm… what’s happening?”Arii also came. “Mikaaa! You’re so cool right now!”Mika also stared at Arii. After a few seconds, “Ariiiii! Sorry if I didn’t know! I just want to hug you now!” Mika cried as she hugs Arii. The others came too.“You guys! Why didn’t you tell me that you’re feeling that way? I feel like a bad friend now,” Mika uttered as she hugged each of her friends.Everyone is puzzled by Mika’s behavior.“What’s happening to her?” Marco asked.“Is this some side effect of her powers?” Mario hunched.“I don’t know…” Orixa replied. “But that’s not important right now. We still have an enemy
“Bolt!? Why are you here!?” Spike uttered. “Everyone, please stop! This is not the right thing to do!” Bolt shouted to the armed kids. “Go away, Bolt! You already betrayed our group, you don’t belong here anymore!” “Hey… Spike. I know that they got Auntie. But these people came to help us!” Spike was moved by what Bolt said. “...What?” “Hey! Don’t listen to that kid!” Aize scolded Spike. Spike is torn by his indecisiveness. “These people can help us, Spike. Come on, do the right thing and stop listening to that man. They’re just using us as their weapons.” After saying these words, Bolt is starting to persuade Spike and the other kids. They lowered their weapons. “Look! They’re about to defeat them. Everything will change if you don’t follow Aize’s orders,” Bolt’s continuous persuasion. Spike bowed down in silence. Later on, “...... You’re right,” he said as he dropped his weapon. The other kids did the same. Seeing the other kids’ decision, Bolt can’t help but let out a gl
“Uhh… why am I caught up by Coco’s Spell? Why am I also transported here? *cough*” “It’s because you didn’t move away, you idiot,” Minerva answered Skald. “I’m also here too,” the kid that guarded Nikko said. Minerva sighed at the sight of the kid. All of them were transported in one of Coco’s Controlled Dimensions to fight the lone Nikko. The theme in this controlled Dimension is a vast flatland. “Move away, you two. I already defeated this guy. I’ll make it quick this time,” Minerva confidently uttered as she approaches Nikko. “Don’t make this hard for you. Admit defeat and I’ll consider taking you out of here unharmed,” Minerva proudly demanded Nikko. “...” “Stubborn, aren’t you? Well… it couldn’t be helped, I’ll just put you down like the last time we clashed together,” Minerva stated as she drew her sword and pointed it at Nikko. She also used her Magic Amulet to create her Icicle Arm. Minerva starts to chant a Spell, “Icicle Spear!” An Ice Spear formed in front of her. A
The gusts of Violent Winds completely enveloped and protected Yufa like a body barrier. She assumed a Charging Stance again to prepare another Move.Orixa quickly slides towards Yufa in an attempt to disrupt the Move. But when she moved closer, she felt the Violent Winds pushing her away. Still, she tried to strike Yufa, but her attack was blocked by the Violent Winds.Yufa completed her Charging Phase. Then,“Auster’s Blade!!”She forcefully slashed her polearm in a diagonal motion. A thick and powerful Wind Blade gushed out from her weapon.Orixa was able to dodge the Wind Blade, but the explosive winds produced by the Move pushed her away. She stumbled and rolled to the wet ground, but she recovered back to her feet immediately.“Those protective winds swirling around her are very troublesome. I need to strike faster than the winds so my attacks will pass through,” Orixa uttered in her mind. She prepared to attack once again. In a blink of an eye, she moved and went past Yufa.“Rip
Ariilily: But how can we help them with just the three of us? Nikko: I have a plan. Mika: Really? That’s great. What should we do? Nikko: Go to that man over there.} Nikko is referring to Leo. {Mika: But why? Nikko: I heard that he has the weapons of our friends inside his Utility Bag. Mika: You’re right. I heard it too. But what should we do after that? Our friends are still bound by those magic chains. Nikko: I can dispel those chains. Mika: You can do that? Nikko: Yes. Mika: Nice! Nikko: Go there now. Don’t take action until I give the signal, okay? Mika: Ok. Nikko: Go!} The three started moving. Mika went towards the direction where Leo is standing. Arii followed Mika. Seeing that his captured friends are clustered together in one small area, Nikko lifted his arm and pointed his sword at that area. He stayed like that for a few seconds. Then, “Done,” he uttered in his mind. He put away his sword and rushed in a specific direction. Mika and Arii have now reached Le
“Friends!?” Orixa’s reaction. After a short realization, “You bastards! What did you do to them!?” “You’ll meet them shortly,” Minerva replied. “Let go of me!” Orixa uttered as she keeps on struggling. Minerva, together with Coco, Skald, and Lorelei forced Orixa to walk towards the Tavern’s sidewall. “Aah! Why didn’t we think of this?” Orixa uttered after chuckling scornfully. “Let me guess? One of the rooms in the Corridor leads to your real Base?” Coco didn’t answer. Instead, she looked back to the crowd and yelled, “Every one of you here, get out of this Tavern! Now!” “Eh!? But we’re still celebrating here!” one of the customers demanded. “I SAID… I WANT EVERYONE OUT!” Coco repeated. But now, the tone is more intense and scary. Every irrelevant customer exited the Tavern. They left with disappointed faces. After the crowd left the Tavern, Coco proceeded in opening a Special Portal on the wall. From her pocket, she pulled four Talismans. The Talismans look like flat pieces
