Mika and Orixa were surprised by Nikko’s answer.
“I think I heard that there’s a kidnapping incident happening nearby,” Nikko added.
“Really!?” Orixa’s reaction.
“Wow! We just got here and it’s happening already! This Mission will be faster than we thought,” Orixa uttered.
The conversation between Coco and the wounded player continued. Mika, Nikko, and Orixa moved to the crowd to listen closer to the conversation.
“We should get him this time!” a player from the crowd uttered.
“That bastard! He always does what he wants!” another shouted.
“Capture that man!” another yelled.
The cheering continued.
When the crowd saw that three Scouts were coming closer, they suddenly went silent. The crowd just stared as the three walked to speak to Coco.
“Co
“I really remember that face of yours! Weren’t you the boy in the First Station? The one I saw playing at the entrance of the First Portal?....” The boy didn’t respond. He just continues stepping backward. “And as I remember, you were playing with another boy. Was he your friend? Where is he now?” Mika interrogated. Her assertive tone suddenly changed into a more concerned one. “Who cares!? I already killed him!” the boy shouted at Mika. Mika was shocked by the boy’s answer. The boy ran away to the shadowy parts of the area. “Should I chase him?” a player asked Skald. “No… let him be,” Skald answered. Mika is still in a state of shock. She’s just staring at the air. “Mimi, Come on. We should go,” Orixa whispered as she hugged Mika’s arm and led her back to the Tave
“Uh-huh… So… there’s only one kidnapper in there? He sounds very powerful to do it alone,” Raft’s reaction to the Report. “Yes… Super strong!” Orixa affirmed. “Well… okay. Regarding the ‘aftereffects’ that Coco mentioned, I’ll study more about it. For now, I don’t notice any significant behaviors from our friends that I might correlate to the past Event,” Raft said. “It’s good to hear that everyone is doing fine there,” Mika said. “Yes. We’re fine here. Everyone looks okay… Except - I think… Tusha?” “Tusha? Why? What about her?” Mika asked. “I don’t know… She’s acting weird for a normal player. She still gives us wacky answers whenever we ask her questions about her.” “Oh, I see… same as before?” “Yes! She keeps telling about ‘Rath’s Return’ and other mystical beings, and ‘her people’s o

Mika looked at the old man with a confused face. The man looks like he’s in his late age. However, the old man seems like he still has his beef inside him as can be observed by his well-rounded body and sharp posture. He is holding a long weird-looking stick. “If I were you, I would move away from that child as soon as I can,” the old man warned. “Huh?” Mika uttered. But then, she followed the old man’s warning. She stepped away from the girl. Suddenly, the little girl stood up like a spring. The girl looked at the old man and yelled, “Damn you, Old Geezer! I almost have her!” The little girl ran away after that. Mika was surprised. “Woah! What just happened!?” “I told you!” The old man said with a seemingly playful tone. Then, he let out a weird chuckle, “Wo
Mika and Skald stayed inside the Tavern.*cough* *cough*“You don’t look too good,” Mika concernedly said to Skald.“Nah! It’s just a common cough. Would be gone after a day or three. *cough*”“You should rest at least.”Skald replied, “I’ll feel much worse if I lay my body on the bed. This, however...” He raises the mug of beer that he is drinking. “...This will give my body the energy it needs! Haha!”Mika is weirded by Skald’s strange belief. She chose not to persuade him any longer. A short silence happened after that. Later on, Mika decided to speak again; she used the opportunity to ask Skald about the information she heard from the old man.“Skald… What do you know about the Rubbles?”“Oh,
“What? You found him? Is it true?” Mika’s surprised reaction.“Yes.”Orixa and Mika still couldn’t believe it.“How? How did you find him, Nikku?” Orixa asked.“I tracked him too.”“Hm?”“I followed you and the others to the building,” Nikko said to Orixa.“You were following us in our investigation? But why didn’t you just join us?”Nikko didn’t answer the question.Mika answered Orixa’s question, “Uuuhh… It’s just him… being him. Nikko being Nikko.”“Uh-huh… But we didn’t even feel you trailing us.”“...”“What did you do then? We wer
One kid suddenly draws a knife out of his pocket.“I told you! Don’t try to stop me! It’s my decision! Mind your own business!”“You’re stupid, Spike! You don’t know what you’re into! They’re just brainwashing you! You idiot!”“Stop mocking me or I’ll stab this knife in your throat!”“Quit it, Spike! I know they got Auntie Cecilia. But if you don’t get out of there, you’ll probably end up in a bad condition!”“You don’t know what you’re saying. I said leave me alone!”“Tch! F*cking idiot!”“Say that again I will really kill you!”“You moron!”The kid lost it. He charges as he attempts to stab the other kid. But then,
“We’re getting closer,” Nikko announced. The Raiding Players were now in the boundary of the Rubbles. The abandoned house where the man is hiding is just a few blocks nearby. “Ugh… This place really makes me nauseous *cough*,” Skald groaned. “I can’t believe someone is still living in this area,” Tafeeta said. “They might have strong guts to live in an inhabitable place like this,’ Vlanko said. “Enough blabbering. We should focus on our mission,” Lorelei said. She asked Nikko, “Will you use the Spell now?” Nikko nodded his head. “Whenever you’re ready.” “We should be at a Party first,” Nikko said. “Ooh - That’s right! I almost forgot it. Thanks for reminding us, Nikku.” After that, Orixa started creating a Party for the players. She added Mika, Nikko, and Skald. She also added the players on the other Raiding Team. Then, “Oh - Shoot! I can only add eight players to the Party. I think the 12-man capacity only applies when we’re in a Dungeon,” Orixa stated. “So… The Lookout T
