She had just peeled off the skin over her chest and abdomen to get rid of all the areas the poison affected, she was bleeding badly and her wounds were healing very slowly because of the poison. Willow valley.The sky began to turn blue as dawn had just arrived, the faint orange sunlight of the early morning shone from the horizon. Rodric still stood in the same spot at the front of his house, he didn't sleep or sit down throughout the night, yet there was no sign of stress or tiredness on his face, as an experienced devil hunter, he has already lived many nights like this before. He noticed the sun starting to rise and a look of disappointed came over him, if Verner wasn't back by now, then it only meant one thing, he didn't make it. The sun was particularly hot today, Rodric pulled out a pocket watch to check the time, it was just a few minutes after 11 o clock, and it already felt like a hot afternoon. 'CHOO!! CHOO!!!!...'The steam train chuffed, clicked and whistled as it went, this was the second train Verner and the hunters entered throughout this journey. It had already been 24 hours since they left Willow valley and they were close to their destination "So damn slow..." Rodric thought, even though the train was literally the fastest means of transportation that existed in this era. "If I had use thunder flash I'd be there in an hour or two" Rodric kept on whining. Brogan laughed, knowing fully when that Rodric can't run at such speed for one hour straight, his body will build up too much heat and burn to ash, Rodric just liked to bluff. Verner didn't even mind any of them, he stuck his head outside the window and watched the landscape, excitement and amazement written all over his face, he saw new kind of animals, people, buildings and infrastructure that he had only heard of before. It was his first day outside the mountains, and he was already loving every second of it...
