Chapter 123

Jiro’s imprisonment was felt by nature itself. Students watched as lightning rolled the red carpet for thunderstorms to steal the show. It was a roar like no other. The electric messengers touched the earth with their hands, showing their anger in the color of their appearance.

The clouds gathered, shielding the direction from whence the next strike would come. The lightning gave a hint, but it was always followed instantaneously by the raging storm. Soon, lightning became the closest form of light in the heavens. It was far from night time yet, the atmosphere darkened with tears borne out of its anger falling. What looked like drops soon became torrents, and the birds hid in their nests - avoiding their flights from being canceled.

“Hey!” Kakashi gripped the arm of the new commander as he walked by with urgent strides, forcing his body to turn around abruptly.
