Chapter 15

Jay remained frozen to the spot as other students ran to the open space after the loud thud of bodies they heard.

The chaos monsters were on the ground, their purple blood making an art of the compound. Some of the monsters were burnt down, their ashes being blown away by the wind.

“Get back, get back” Soldiers instructed the students who eagerly looked on as Jiro Shoei was being attended to. He had no blood on him but his spirit looked defeated as all attempts to revive him in that instance proved abortive. His eyes closed, his hands spread apart, just like his lips.

“There is a pulse. It is faint, but he is still breathing. We need to take him out for proper medication.” The paramedic announced.

The commander wished the master of the college was around to make this tough decision. It was risky, very risky to let anyone out at this time, especially when they needed to find out exactly how these chaos monsters were able to locate and force their way in. What was to say there would
