'I..i..if he inhaled the dust, then...no way..it can't be..' The man pondered with a tensed expression.
Kakashi finally turned around and faced the strange person. Once he caught a glimpse of him, he flinched a bit and raised up his hands. "Who the hell are you?" Kakashi asked in shock. No one had hardly come to the mountain all these years he had been visiting it, so seeing someone strange amidst the thick dust made him flinch a bit.
The man seemed to be in his early twenties. His height was around 6'3, clad in a black long sleeve attire, black long trousers, and black shoes. His spiky shiny golden hair covered his eyes completely and most of his face. His looks weren't bad at all, he was the perfect guy every girl would dream for.
'Can he even see with his hair covering his eyes and most of his face?' Kakashi wondered.
"What are you doing in a place like this?" The man known as Jiro Shoei questioned, his two hands placed in his pants pockets while standing a few meters away from Kakashi.
"A place like this? I come here everyday." Kakashi responded with looks of bewilderment while rubbing his itchy nose to prevent him from sneezing.
'I can still feel the energy from the Lord Zodiac's dust here, but I can't seem to find it. He definitely did sniff it in.' Jiro Shoei pondered, moving closer to Kakashi, making him move backwards.
"You sniffed in a very powerful dust that was gotten from the burnt corpse of a mighty Chaos God named Lord Zodiac." Jiro sounded, taking a few steps forward and slowly closing the gap between himself and Kakashi. "Well, the dust has been trapped in a jar for thousands of years, until the jar suddenly cracked open in the altar we placed it in and now the dust escaped and you sniffed it into your body system."
"Since Lord Zodiac was a high ranked Chaos god, that dust should have killed you immediately you sniffed it in. But surprisingly, you are alive?" Jiro remarked, now standing directly in front of Kakashi who had a dumbfounded look on his face.
"Uhm..dude, just what are you on about? god? Zodiac? Chaos god dust? This isn't a movie." Kakashi voiced, laughing uncontrollably after.
Jiro Shoei stood there gazing at Kakashi as he laughed at a deadly situation at hand. "Oh, that's right. You are a human, meaning you have no idea of the dark forces and individuals that lurk around Japan." Jiro remarked, walking towards a round rock and sitting on it.
"What do you mean?" Asked Kakashi, stunned by Jiro's words.
"You see, centuries ago, gods descended to earth. Two gods to be precise." Jiro explained, relaxing on the rock. "One of them was known as Lord Genzen, while the other, Lord Zodiac. Lord Genzen's goal was to bless humanity and reward them greatly for being faithful, while Lord Zodiac's goal almost ended the human race."
"His goal was to turn every single human into a sub god slave, a god slave that would gain powers and also worship him. Lord GenZen opposed his agenda, and that's how the war broke out." Jiro explained.
"War?" Kakashi inquired, the whole thing sounded unreal to him, but for some reason, his words sounded truthful.
"Not really a war, but a battle between Lord Zodiac and Lord Genzen." Jiro responded. "The fight continued for hundreds of years, until finally, both parties used their last powerful attacks. Lord Genzen used a large ball of Zen fire against Lord Zodiac, while Lord Zodiac sent out a large amount of Energy."
"The fire from Lord Genzen was able to burn Lord Zodiac and turned his body into dust, while the energy was deflected off. But it didn't just deflect, it exploded and the particles scattered around Japan."
"Few people who got hit by the Chaos Energy particle were granted the techniques of the chaos energy, while some unfortunate people turned into chaos monsters." Jiro narrated, placing his hands behind his head and resting his head on it.
"Wow. And I'm guessing you are a Chaos energy user?" Kakashi questioned.
"Yeah, correct. But we Zenlinkers don't use the Chaos Energy for evil." Jiro responded. "Even if we received the power of an evil god, we still worship Lord Genzen, and therefore we use this power to vanquish every chaos monster and those who wish to continue Lord Zodiac's agenda."
"You keep saying Chaos monsters and all, but I haven't encountered any. Even on the news, I have never seen a reporter say anything about someone being attacked by a Chaos monster." Kakashi voiced, his two arms folded in contemplation.
"Yeah, that's because they don't waste their time attacking mere humans. Most Chaos users that worship Lord Zodiac are able to control the Chaos monsters, sending them to a place where they sense a strongly ranked chaos energy. So since the dust has been released, they are probably out to get you." Jiro responded with a slight smirk.
"Out to get me? I am not holding the dust!" Kakashi voiced out, his heart racing in fear as he began to glance around the mountain nervously.
"You inhaled it, meaning Lord Zodiac now dwells inside of you." Jiro responded, rising up from the rock and moving closer to the nervous Kakashi. "You have no idea how long those Zodiac worshipers have been trying to get their hands on the dust to resurrect their god. And now that you inhaled it without dying, it means Lord Zodiac is now alive inside of you and they will stop at nothing until they get their hands on you and make him take over your body completely."
Kakashi held his head tightly, the whole thing was too much for him to digest all at once. "No, no, you speak nonsense! Nonsense!" Kakashi voiced, his tone now deeper than it used to.
"Well, you can choose to stay in denial and let those monsters get you. Or you could let me help you." Jiro started with a smirk.
"P-p-please, help me." Kakashi pleaded, falling down to his knees while clutching onto Jiro's legs.
"Alright, alright. I only need one thing from you in return." Jiro remarked, pulling his legs away from Kakashi and turned around, walking towards a particular area he heard heavy footsteps with his hands still in his pockets.
"What do you want?" Kakashi asked, a glint of hope in his eyes.
"I just want to satisfy my curiosity by making you switch places with Lord Zodiac. That's all." Jiro responded, still traversing forward and the footsteps got louder as it got closer and closer.
"I don't even know how to do that." Kakashi responded in confusion.
"Don't worry, there is always a first time for everything." Jiro responded, and immediately, a large figure arrived in their location and began to charge forward towards Jiro. The creature moved in all four like a giant lion, a blade-like tail behind it, and the two giant heads in front of it.
Catching a glimpse of the Chaos monster, Kakashi gulped down. Beads of sweat trickled down his face and he felt a warm liquid wet his pants.
Jiro stood there calmly, his hands still in his pocket and his eyes fixated on the incoming monster. Closing in on him, the two headed monster leapt up into the air and headed straight to Jiro from above.
'Judging by the speed, it is definitely a Rank 3.' Jiro mused, taking a step backwards, making the monster land on the bare floor. Seizing the opportunity, Jiro lifted his right leg and delivered a powerful kick that struck the monster on both heads and knocked it a few meters backwards.
Jiro didn't stop there, he pulled his right hand backwards and swiped it forward, releasing a long thin line of black energy. The energy charged towards the monster, dividing the body in half. Dark purple blood gushed out as the body hit the floor.
"Hehe, the bastard made me use my hand." Jiro intoned, shifting his gaze back to Kakashi who just stood there dazed by all that he had just witnessed. "Don't worry, you will get used to it. Now it's time to pay me back."
Saying those words, Jiro bent down and picked up a small stone with a rough layer. He glanced at the stone for a few seconds before sending it towards Kakashi. The stone flew through the air and scraped Kakashi on his cheek, causing a single drop of blood to be drawn.
'Let's hope I'm right.' Jiro pondered as he watched Kakashi fall down to his knees, his once spiky orange hair were now crimson red, and his eyes were crimson with no sign of iris on it. Red claws began to grow out of his fingers, and also a red sharp tail grew behind him.
"Where am i?" A deep demonic voice sounded as Kakashi spoke. He rose up from the ground and scanned the area, making an evil smirk curl up on his lips. "I am finally free." Lord Zodiac voiced.
Lord Zodiac's dust. A dust that was gotten from Lord Zodiac's body when he got burnt during the battle against Lord Genzen. The dust was placed in a supreme jar that was sealed with high-ranked chaos energy to prevent it from escaping. But all of a sudden, after thousands of years, the jar cracked open and now the dust escaped, looking for a human or anybody to possess."I am finally free." Lord Zodiac voiced, his deep voice echoed throughout the mountain as he glanced at the night sky and sniffed in the relaxing atmosphere."Hehe, this is cracking me up." Jiro's chuckle from behind made Lord Zodiac turn around and see a strange man behind him."Let me guess, a Godlinker?" Lord Zodiac stated, disgusted by the sight of Jiro. "Correct," Jiro responded, moving closer to Lord Zodiac. "You see, a lot has changed since you met your demise. This world is now different from what you once knew. I suggest you perish any idea of you trying to take over Kakashi's body completely, and then take o
Kakashi headed back home after his crazy encounter with Jiro. He still couldn't believe all that just happened and what he witnessed. It was almost like he got transmigrated to a Hollywood series or Japanese anime he loved watching.Kakashi had no idea monsters existed, or the fact that a certain individual possesses some sort of unique technique. It's almost like these Godlinkers and Chaos monsters lived invisibly in the same world as humans.Jiro did say humans had no idea the monsters existed or about the gods because the monsters won't just waste their time going after weak humans, and Godlinkers are the type of people who love to stay hidden. But now that Kakashi inhaled the dust of Lord Zodiac, he was now automatically a part of their world and needed to be extra careful in what he did.Kakashi walked into his tiny one-room apartment that was messed up with trash and junk here and there. Kakashi never bothered to clean up the room since he stayed alone and mostly spent his time
Kakashi picked up Eugene from the floor and began dashing towards the clinic. He ran through the hallway with his heart pounding, afraid for his friend's well-being. After running for a few minutes, Kakashi barged into the clinic and placed Eugene on an empty bed."Please, save him!" Kakashi voiced out with a frightful expression as the nurse headed toward Eugene to examine him."What happened to him?" Nurse Iris questioned as she examined Eugene attentively."I do not know, I just found him in the changing room and he refused to say anything or who did this!" Kakashi explained restlessly and cold sweat trickled down his face."This injury is very severe. The chances of him surviving is seventy/thirty" Nurse Iris informed me as she began to do some work on Eugene.Hearing the words of Iris, Kakashi's heart sank and he stood there in boiling anger. Eugene never crossed his boundary or harmed anyone, yet Aoki went ahead to beat him up this badly. For what? Some stupid basketball game?K
Being a part of the high school's basketball team was Kakashi's dream, but now that he has been made a starting player he didn't feel too joyful about it. The reason was because of Eugene and Aoki."Thank you, coach." Kakashi appreciated it as the players kept praising him nonstop.***After practice was over, Kakashi made his way back to the changing room to wait for Aoki. He couldn't attack him in front of everyone, so he chose to return back to the quiet chaining room to wait."YOU SERIOUSLY PLAN TO FIGHT THAT GUY? YOU ARE WEAK! I WONDER WHY I GOT REBORN INTO A WEAK AND STUPID HUMAN LIKE YOU!" Lord Zodiac cursed Kakashi internally.Kakashi chose to ignore his voice and stand there with a determined look. His heart was racing but he chose to put aside his fear and focus on his main agenda. After a few minutes of waiting, the entrance door swung open and Aoki walked in with six more bulky students who all had fierce looks and weapons in their hands."What do we have here? The newly a
What the...." Before Oda could finish his words, he felt a gust of wind pass through his neck, and his head was chopped off instantly. Blood splattered around the floor as Oda's headless body hit the tiled floor and his head followed after."I KNEW YOU WEREN'T CAPABLE OF DEFEATING THEM." Lord Zodiac spoke in a deep and terrifying voice and his gaze fixated on Aoki who stood there shivering in fear.Aoki stood there with his minions, his heart racing at the sight of what Kakashi had become. The once innocent-looking Kakashi now had red hair and red vicious claws in his fingers.'Am I hallucinating or did he really kill Oda like it was nothing at all?' Aoki pondered with a racing heart. The way Oda's head fell off without anyone noticing Kakashi making any move came as a surprise to Aoki. All he saw was Off charging in and his head suddenly fell off with Kakashi still standing there."MY DISCIPLES WILL BE HERE ANY SECOND FROM NOW SINCE THIS TRASH SWITCHED SIDES WITH ME. THEY MUST HAVE S
Moments after Daisuke left the place, a tall man with spiky golden hair that covered his eyes arrived at the location. He glanced around the place, and after noticing Kakashi lying down unconscious amidst several dead bodies, his expression darkened and he swiftly made his way towards him."Damn, I am too late. Lord Zodiac took over." Jiro mused as he picked Kakashi off the floor and dashed away at superhuman speed to avoid being spotted by anyone."""The morning sun rose up, and the ray flickered into the room and shone brightly into the eyes of Kakashi, causing him to wake up from his sleep. He opened his eyes widely and jolted up from the bed after catching a glimpse of his current location."Where the hell am I?" Kakashi muttered."You are in the Godlinkers High." A voice sounded across the room, causing Kakashi to shift his gaze and see a tall good-looking man who stood meters away from him with his hands tucked in his pockets.Catching a glimpse of the man, Kakashi recognized h
The moment the referee’s voice was heard, Kakashi opened his mouth to surrender, but his words were cut short as the girl closed in on him with superhuman speed and connected a blow to his jaw. The blow connected neatly to his jaw, lifted him off the floor and sent him flying a few metres backwards. Kakashi landed on the floor with his fingers rubbing his jaw.He could have sworn he heard it cracked the moment the girl’s fist connected to it. Kakashi picked himself off the floor and attempted to surrender, but the girl closed the gap once more at tremendous speed and sent Kakashi flying further back with a single punch. Jiro Shoei wondered why Kakashi hadn’t surrendered like he had told him to. Now he was on the brink of letting the demon in him out. Not a good way to start school at Godlinkers High.‘This girl is not letting my surrender come easy’ Kakashi thought as he wiped the drool from his lips. He made to stand up but he could only fall back on his butt as his knees had other
“How did you do it?” Jiro dragged Kakashi out of the open space into a corner where no one could hear them. “Do what?” Kakashi’s smile showed his satisfaction from the reception he had just gotten. He was still nostalgic about the duel. Nothing could wipe the smile off his face now.“Talk now!” Jiro drew his palm towards Kakashi with energy blasting from it and pushing Kakashi hard against the wall. “Calm down dude. Why are you so angry? I just won, isn’t that what you wanted?” Kakashi winced in pain, confused about why Jiro had just blasted him against the wall.“I’m not going to ask again. Talk now or do you want what is inside you to pay a visit to mankind?” Jiro threatened Kakashi.“Woah man, how can you even say such? We are trying to fight this together and get it back entrapped. Why are you even saying such nonsense? Are you no longer a good chaos energy user?” Kakashi voiced his best freedom of speech. He had just gone through an unprepared fight with one of the best student
