Lord Zodiac's dust. A dust that was gotten from Lord Zodiac's body when he got burnt during the battle against Lord Genzen. The dust was placed in a supreme jar that was sealed with high-ranked chaos energy to prevent it from escaping.
But all of a sudden, after thousands of years, the jar cracked open and now the dust escaped, looking for a human or anybody to possess.
"I am finally free." Lord Zodiac voiced, his deep voice echoed throughout the mountain as he glanced at the night sky and sniffed in the relaxing atmosphere.
"Hehe, this is cracking me up." Jiro's chuckle from behind made Lord Zodiac turn around and see a strange man behind him.
"Let me guess, a Godlinker?" Lord Zodiac stated, disgusted by the sight of Jiro.
"Correct," Jiro responded, moving closer to Lord Zodiac. "You see, a lot has changed since you met your demise. This world is now different from what you once knew. I suggest you perish any idea of you trying to take over Kakashi's body completely, and then take over this world."
Saying those words, Lord Zodiac began to laugh out loud like a maniac, causing a puzzled expression to etch on Jiro's face.
"This body is mine now. I don't know who set the dust free, but since I now dwell inside this body it now belongs to me." Lord Zodiac remarked, laughing uncontrollably after. "And yes, my agenda remains the same. And this time, no one can stop me. You Godlinkers and even Lord Genzen can try all you want."
Jiro halted his steps meters away from Lord Zodiac. "That's what you think. But let me tell you something good, you are only in control for a duration of time. Lord Zodiac drank blood to live back in the dark ages, and I assumed if I should make Kakashi bleed, you would take control of his body since you also needed to bleed to use your full power. The question now is, how long will you be in control? That's why I needed Kakashi to switch, to know just how long it'll take for him to switch back. Just in case." Jiro explained, a big smile evident on his face while he glanced at his watch to see the time. "One minute so far."
"I guess I have to kill you before you find out!" Lord Zodiac voiced, launching forward at incredible speed with his two fists clenched. "Killing you would send a message to the Godlinkers and also to Lord Genzen himself!"
"I like it when they get mad, hehe." Jiro chuckled, moving his head slightly, making Lord Zodiac's fist miss him by hair length. Lord Zodiac quickly retrieved his outstretched arm and punched it out once more towards Jiro's chest area.
"One of your minions did end my whole clan, you know," Jiro said, swerving his body sideways, and Lord Zodiac ended up punching nothing but thin air. "So I have to vent all my anger out on you since fighting those minions is just a waste of time."
Saying those words, Jiro leaped a few meters into the air, delivering a hammer-like kick toward Lord Zodiac's head. Lord Zodiac managed to lift up his arm and block the strike but wasn't fast enough to dodge the incoming black energy bolt.
The energy sent him flying and crashing into a rock nearby. "Three minutes," Jiro remarked as he watched Lord Zodiac try standing but ended up falling back down to his knees.
'What's happening?' Lord Zodiac pondered in confusion, his vision becoming blurry and his long claws beginning to vanish. 'So he's right, I can't be in total control? Dammit, I have to figure something o...' Unable to hold it anymore, he passed out.
Seconds after he passed out, the red hair on his head began to change back to Kakashi's initial orange hair, and his fierce looks returned back to Kakashi's innocent 15-year-old boy's looks.
"Huh, what the hell happened?" Kakashi questioned, stretching his body and yawning like someone who just woke up from a good night's sleep.
"I just affirmed the truth." Jiro intoned. "If you bleed, Lord Zodiac takes control of your body for a total of three minutes."
"What?" Kakashi exclaimed in shock. "So you mean he took control? Was that why you scratched me with that stone?"
"Yeah, sorry about that, I just couldn't walk up to you and say 'Hey, stand still while I tear your skin.'" Jiro responded. "But it seems you can't remember anything. What happened after you blacked out?"
"Hum...I can't really remember. I just blacked out, and then woke up now. It felt like I fell asleep. I don't know, it's crazy." Kakashi answered back, rubbing his spiky orange hair.
"It must be Lord Zodiac blocking your memory. He probably doesn't want you to know what he is on to while in control. That way we won't know what he is planning or his next move. Classic Zodiac, I like it." Jiro chuckled and shook his head.
"So what now? I can't just return back home knowing there is a thousand year old dude living inside of me, waiting for me to bleed so he can take control and kill everyone." Kakashi voiced, his expression filled with nervousness and stress.
"Well, you have to choose, Kakashi. Follow me to Godlinkers High, an academy that's filled with Chaos Energy users like me." Jiro responded. "You being merged with Lord Zodiac automatically makes you a target."
"What? A target? Why?!" Kakashi questioned in fear.
"Dude, have you ever been listening?" Jiro facepalmed and sighed. "Like I said before, there are lots of Chaos Energy users who worship Lord Zodiac and their goal is to resurrect him and continue his agenda. Since the dust is out of the supreme Jar, they must have sensed the strong energy of the dust, and they are probably out now to collect the dust or the Merger."
"But if you follow me back to the academy, I can keep you safe and also train you on how to defend yourself just in case," Jiro explained. "It's not like you will be safe in the academy though. Lord Zodiac is a threat to mankind, they won't spare you knowing there is a chance Lord Zodiac could take control. So either way, you are dead."
"Huh? So if I choose to leave, I'm dead, if I follow you, I'm still dead?" Kakashi blurted.
"If you follow me, your chances of living would be high. But only for a duration of time. You don't expect me to keep you safe forever, do you?" Jiro responded.
Kakashi stood there, his two fists clenched in anger. He has always felt extremely useless in this world. Every day he wished he was the one that had died in that car crash instead of his parents.
"No point in saving me." Kakashi started in a low tone, turning around, and began to make his way off the mountain. "Anything that wants to happen let it happen."
Jiro stood on the spot watching Kakashi make his decision and left. 'He can leave, but I will continue to keep an eye on him. Being the Merger makes him very dangerous. Any slight injury could end thousands of lives.' Jiro pondered, vanishing from the spot.
Kakashi headed back home after his crazy encounter with Jiro. He still couldn't believe all that just happened and what he witnessed. It was almost like he got transmigrated to a Hollywood series or Japanese anime he loved watching.Kakashi had no idea monsters existed, or the fact that a certain individual possesses some sort of unique technique. It's almost like these Godlinkers and Chaos monsters lived invisibly in the same world as humans.Jiro did say humans had no idea the monsters existed or about the gods because the monsters won't just waste their time going after weak humans, and Godlinkers are the type of people who love to stay hidden. But now that Kakashi inhaled the dust of Lord Zodiac, he was now automatically a part of their world and needed to be extra careful in what he did.Kakashi walked into his tiny one-room apartment that was messed up with trash and junk here and there. Kakashi never bothered to clean up the room since he stayed alone and mostly spent his time
Kakashi picked up Eugene from the floor and began dashing towards the clinic. He ran through the hallway with his heart pounding, afraid for his friend's well-being. After running for a few minutes, Kakashi barged into the clinic and placed Eugene on an empty bed."Please, save him!" Kakashi voiced out with a frightful expression as the nurse headed toward Eugene to examine him."What happened to him?" Nurse Iris questioned as she examined Eugene attentively."I do not know, I just found him in the changing room and he refused to say anything or who did this!" Kakashi explained restlessly and cold sweat trickled down his face."This injury is very severe. The chances of him surviving is seventy/thirty" Nurse Iris informed me as she began to do some work on Eugene.Hearing the words of Iris, Kakashi's heart sank and he stood there in boiling anger. Eugene never crossed his boundary or harmed anyone, yet Aoki went ahead to beat him up this badly. For what? Some stupid basketball game?K
Being a part of the high school's basketball team was Kakashi's dream, but now that he has been made a starting player he didn't feel too joyful about it. The reason was because of Eugene and Aoki."Thank you, coach." Kakashi appreciated it as the players kept praising him nonstop.***After practice was over, Kakashi made his way back to the changing room to wait for Aoki. He couldn't attack him in front of everyone, so he chose to return back to the quiet chaining room to wait."YOU SERIOUSLY PLAN TO FIGHT THAT GUY? YOU ARE WEAK! I WONDER WHY I GOT REBORN INTO A WEAK AND STUPID HUMAN LIKE YOU!" Lord Zodiac cursed Kakashi internally.Kakashi chose to ignore his voice and stand there with a determined look. His heart was racing but he chose to put aside his fear and focus on his main agenda. After a few minutes of waiting, the entrance door swung open and Aoki walked in with six more bulky students who all had fierce looks and weapons in their hands."What do we have here? The newly a
What the...." Before Oda could finish his words, he felt a gust of wind pass through his neck, and his head was chopped off instantly. Blood splattered around the floor as Oda's headless body hit the tiled floor and his head followed after."I KNEW YOU WEREN'T CAPABLE OF DEFEATING THEM." Lord Zodiac spoke in a deep and terrifying voice and his gaze fixated on Aoki who stood there shivering in fear.Aoki stood there with his minions, his heart racing at the sight of what Kakashi had become. The once innocent-looking Kakashi now had red hair and red vicious claws in his fingers.'Am I hallucinating or did he really kill Oda like it was nothing at all?' Aoki pondered with a racing heart. The way Oda's head fell off without anyone noticing Kakashi making any move came as a surprise to Aoki. All he saw was Off charging in and his head suddenly fell off with Kakashi still standing there."MY DISCIPLES WILL BE HERE ANY SECOND FROM NOW SINCE THIS TRASH SWITCHED SIDES WITH ME. THEY MUST HAVE S
Moments after Daisuke left the place, a tall man with spiky golden hair that covered his eyes arrived at the location. He glanced around the place, and after noticing Kakashi lying down unconscious amidst several dead bodies, his expression darkened and he swiftly made his way towards him."Damn, I am too late. Lord Zodiac took over." Jiro mused as he picked Kakashi off the floor and dashed away at superhuman speed to avoid being spotted by anyone."""The morning sun rose up, and the ray flickered into the room and shone brightly into the eyes of Kakashi, causing him to wake up from his sleep. He opened his eyes widely and jolted up from the bed after catching a glimpse of his current location."Where the hell am I?" Kakashi muttered."You are in the Godlinkers High." A voice sounded across the room, causing Kakashi to shift his gaze and see a tall good-looking man who stood meters away from him with his hands tucked in his pockets.Catching a glimpse of the man, Kakashi recognized h
The moment the referee’s voice was heard, Kakashi opened his mouth to surrender, but his words were cut short as the girl closed in on him with superhuman speed and connected a blow to his jaw. The blow connected neatly to his jaw, lifted him off the floor and sent him flying a few metres backwards. Kakashi landed on the floor with his fingers rubbing his jaw.He could have sworn he heard it cracked the moment the girl’s fist connected to it. Kakashi picked himself off the floor and attempted to surrender, but the girl closed the gap once more at tremendous speed and sent Kakashi flying further back with a single punch. Jiro Shoei wondered why Kakashi hadn’t surrendered like he had told him to. Now he was on the brink of letting the demon in him out. Not a good way to start school at Godlinkers High.‘This girl is not letting my surrender come easy’ Kakashi thought as he wiped the drool from his lips. He made to stand up but he could only fall back on his butt as his knees had other
“How did you do it?” Jiro dragged Kakashi out of the open space into a corner where no one could hear them. “Do what?” Kakashi’s smile showed his satisfaction from the reception he had just gotten. He was still nostalgic about the duel. Nothing could wipe the smile off his face now.“Talk now!” Jiro drew his palm towards Kakashi with energy blasting from it and pushing Kakashi hard against the wall. “Calm down dude. Why are you so angry? I just won, isn’t that what you wanted?” Kakashi winced in pain, confused about why Jiro had just blasted him against the wall.“I’m not going to ask again. Talk now or do you want what is inside you to pay a visit to mankind?” Jiro threatened Kakashi.“Woah man, how can you even say such? We are trying to fight this together and get it back entrapped. Why are you even saying such nonsense? Are you no longer a good chaos energy user?” Kakashi voiced his best freedom of speech. He had just gone through an unprepared fight with one of the best student
The day looked bright. The trees were shining in their radiant colors, the airbrushed through with a gentle breeze as the sun lit up a kind warmth. Kakashi woke up with a smile after the dinner he had with his new friends. He had gone back to meet with them after Jiro’s rather cryptic message. His face had swapped the smile into a frown now as he remembered the message, “Be careful who you call friends.” “Hey Takashi, are you not going to get ready?” Jay, Kakashi’s roommate reminded him of the practice they had. He thanked Jay as he got up to take his bath.Kakashi got to the arena, where an assembly had already been formed by the students. He saw Jiro at a corner, in his all-black attire. He scanned through the heads and backs of the students in search of Zoa and Tanya. He wasn’t particularly keen on seeing Daichi Cho, he didn’t seem very kind towards him. He wanted to stay clear. After a few turns of his neck and back screening, he saw Zoa and Tanya. He wasn’t excited by it, but
