Kakashi joined in with the long line that queued beneath the figure of Tanya Flowers. He saw Jay from the corner of his eyes, he looked far from excited now. A cold splash of water woke up Doctor Haishi from his sleep. His bones shivered and his breath took a break for a minute. His hands had been tied after confirmation of his being alive.It was morning and the raiders looked to join their colleagues that were in camp. The journey was going on smoothly. The horses raced one another in a lovely display of sports and particularly, racing. By all accounts, they looked like they enjoyed the exercise.The master's horse halted as they passed through a town."We will stay here for the night." The master called out."We do not have any ally here, master. Why do you seek refuge among strangers?" The canteen was filled to the brim. The students congregated around the tables and seats. Zoa and Tanya were seated at their usual place. They saw Kakashi and Zoa enter with their plates in hand. Kakashi and Zoa moved in their direction once they sighted them. “Hey guys.” Zoa announced their arrival as she took a seat with her plate taking its position before her.Kakashi made way to the free seat left around the table. “Oh, shit.” Daichi Cho cursed under his breath as Kakashi closed in on the only available seat that was beside him. The sky was turning pale and the light in its eyes waned. Kakashi watched the shadow disappear into the darkness, he wondered what that could have been. It could have been a student, but he felt it was something else. He had been through a lot these past few days. He didn’t rule out the possibility of what it was to be other than a student of Godlinkers High. He took another peek at the same place with a vain hope that whatever it was that disappeared into the night would come back into the light where it could be visible. He stood there a bit longer than he would have until it dawned on him that there was nothing there. ‘My eyes must have been playing tricks on me.’ He conceived.
