“Do whatever you like; I am not giving into your demand; give me 1 star if you must; I don’t care!” He yelled as he stormed out of the room.“You are foolish to reject me! But Victor knew that even if he wanted to report the illegal activities, he would have to go with evidence. So, he thought of plotting something that would allow the supervisor to leave him inside his office alone so that he could get evidence of the activities that they were doing.But Victor needed to apply for a night shift, which he didn’t do because he panicked and ran off. He went back to the supervisor’s office.He knocked on the front door. “Come in!” Matt yelled from inside. Victor went in, and Matt was sitting down behind his desk. Victor walked over to his desk and sat down on one of the seats that was in front of him.“What brings you here?” Matt asked, raising an eyebrow.“I came to tell you that I will be doing a night shift today,” Victor responded softly.“Oh, okay,” Matt muttered. Victor took out a handkerchief from his pocket and covered his face as he went into the office. He knew that there were security cameras in the office and didn’t want to risk getting caught.Victor started salvaging through Matt’s desk and looking for any document or proof that could point to the fact that Matt was stealing items from customers packages. After about ten minutes of going through his things, he saw a black piece of paper that had “Secrecy” written on it. He opened it and started reading through it. The book contained how they plan the type of clients they steal from and how they end up reselling those stolen goods to black market dealers. He used the university as an excuse, just so she wouldn’t ask him more questions on the matter.“Wow, that’s great. I get you; it’s good for you to even stop working there and focus on your studies,” she said with a smile. Although she was curious to know how he was able to make all these happen in such a short period of time, she didn’t want to ask as none of it was her business.“Yeah,” he muttered. The waiter arrived with their food and drinks as they dropped them on the table and walked away.Esther picked up her cutlery and wanted to start eating when Victor remembered that he wanted to tell her about the illegal things that Matt has been doing in her company.“Wait, before we start eating, there is something very serious that I need to inform you about,” he said, gazing into her eyes.

Even if Victor now knows her true colour and no longer likes her, he knew he couldn’t leak the secret of the operation they have going on, because what if Esther also has the authorities in her pocket?
