The next morning, Trevor returned to the station to inform Vincent on what he just found out. He entered the office, and saw Vincent, slumped over his desk full of papers and snoring loudly. Trevor then remembered that he never really saw Four-Eyes slept since they revived the case. He was up all night, with no rest and is just drinking buckets of coffee each day. Trevor closed the door behind him as he sat down on a couch and he yawned. He also lacks sleep, and he will at least take this opportunity to close his eyes to rest for a moment. They’ve been working hard these past few weeks, and everything about this case just stresses them out, since every lead they have always leads to a dead end. But since they’ve hit a jackpot by knowing some information about the black market, then they have a chance to have a quick nap. But as Trevor was about to slip into the dream world, Vincent suddenly woke up yawned quite loud. Trevor got startled as he stood up and saluted at Vinc
It was an afternoon when Vincent decided to go outside and get some fresh air. He swiped his card on the thing as he went out. He was saluted by the heroes he met om his way out as he nodded at them. Vincent then went to burst fire from his feet and he started to fly and reach this roof of a building, that’s when he sat at the edge, looking down at the people, vehicles and heroes passing by. Even though he needs to be in his office 24/7, his instincts are telling him that he should go outside to get some fresh air. However, that can’t be the only reason why his instinct tingled. There’s a catch to it, something will happen that maybe his instincts are warning him. He doesn’t really know. He’s just so confused at the moment and he definitely has a lot of things going around his head that he can’t even tolerate anymore. So, this is the weight leaders carry on their backs. The heaviness is almost unbearable. However, when Vincent thinks of giving up,
“What are you doing here, Scott?” Vincent asked confusingly as monsters wail around them.“Well, I thought I should help since I’m just right around the corner…” Scott explained.“What?! You can’t just go into the battlefield, especially when you’re actually suspended. And how did you even get in when the borders have guards?” Vincent pointed out.Scott sighed and then chuckled as he went next to Vincent and patted his shoulder,“I went in before it even began to be chaotic. Now, if you excuse me, if I’m not allowed to be here, then I should be going. And don’t worry about me taking over the position again. I intended to step down anyway since you’re doing an excellent job being a leader.” And the continuous praise of Scott continues. It turns out that he’ll come to the Commander’s office later to resign as the 10th unit leader and then
Vincent brought the orc to the monster experts division to get it checked if there’s foul play involved on this madness. He helped the experts to restrain the orc into a bed and tied it up with almost unbreakable chains and shackles. They immediately conducted an investigation which will take 2 days to complete. So, Vincent let them handle this stuff as he went back to unit’s station to get back to work. However, since he is literally covered in monster goo, he first went back to his apartment to take a quick shower and change his smelly clothes. After finishing, he goes back to the station and went to deal with the cases and paperwork. Everything that had happened earlier adds up to the questions inside his head that is confusing him already. Why did Scott exactly go into the woods, especially when he’s suspended? And why would he even give up his position to a mere rookie? Was it just because of the spur of the moment? Another is the abnormalities of those monste
The commander of the 16th division approved of Vincent’s departure immediately since he is either annoyed or just doesn’t care less about him. Vincent will travel to the Central Continent by boat with the monster that’s in this cage and then they’ll take a helicopter to reach the HW of the Amazonian Tigers in Eagle City. It was 4 in the morning and Vincent and the monster is already aboard the boat. Trevor came along without him so that Vincent could have at least someone by his side in that time. Even if it’s Vincent’s sister who is the captain of that squad, Vincent is still impulsive and might do rash decisions, that’s why Trevor needs to be by his leader’s side. The boat then moved on and they started to travel by water. Trevor and Vincent are at this big room on the boat and as Trevor was going to read some magazines, he noticed something that looked weird. He looked at Vincent who is seated across the rooms. He was holding for dear life on the frame of the chair as
The two arrived at the front gates of the Noble Hill where they were stopped by the security people guarding the gates, so that no intruders shall pass the big gates of the nobles. One of the security guards approached the driver as he rolled the window down. The driver then redirected the guard towards the back seats, and there, the guard saw one of his bosses,“G-Good day, Lord Vincent!” greeted the guard as he then ran towards their station and opened up the gates.Vincent thanked the guards as they entered the force field that protects the hill that only those who have Miles’ blood running down their veins can enter. As they climbed upon the hill, they finally reached big main gates of the manor. Trevor, who only saw the Miles manor in pictures before was star struck by how awesome this is. Vincent paid for the fare which costs 25 GAMs and they went out the vehicle as the driver drove back down. Vincent then was about to touch th
Vincent went back up the main library as he sat on one of the tables and began to read the big book. He had only read the first 300 pages of the book since he was still a kid back then and an awful lot of things distract him. And his mother is always looking for him, and he can’t just let his mother see him down in a basically dungeon of the manor and reading some thousand-year-old book. It’s weird fo4 a kid to be seen that way. Not to mention that he didn’t get to read it further because of the fact that some issues happened and he got sent to the mountains to train and live for 10 straight years. As he picked up where he left off, it was the 300th page. This page is the start of the 4th act of the story, and things are getting interesting. In the start of the chapter, it showed how the main character, which name was Ed, fighting a small dragon that can breathe fire. He was at this ancient mountain place where the dragon resides. It says here
The next morning, Vincent woke up right besides his beloved pet. He slept so soundly, that he literally forgot that he had fallen asleep outside of their manor. However, Buddy was too comfortable to be with, so Vincent didn’t really realize that he slept besides his pet so peacefully. He was also too relaxed last night, and he wasn’t really thinking about anything else besides resting. Vincent jumped to stand up as he then began to do some exercises. He removed his white shirt as it will be drenched in sweat anyway, so why bother wearing it. He did some vigorous workouts immediately since it is his daily routine. Since he really doesn’t want to stay out of shape, especially when something is brewing in the Rockmington City, and he still doesn’t know how to defeat two powerful mythical beings. And can the city of Rockmington endure that kind of battle that might happen anytime soon. And to add up to his multiple problems already, the situation that the black-m
The results were just jaw dropping that Violet was in loss for words. In any case, Violet sat down on his chair as she just smelled something fantastic being served at the table. And there is no doubt that the one who cooked this is his troublesome little brother. She hasn’t eaten since yesterday as she was literally very busy. Jessica didn’t come with her today as Violet ordered her to take care of something for her, and you can obviously see the disappointment in Vincent’s face. It was the first those two are seeing each other for almost 6 months. And the fact that Vincent was off the radar for 6 months, Violet noticed something from Jessica’s weird expressions. But when Vincent came back with a blast, Violet and Jessica was just glad, but Violet was not as joyful as Jessica back then. She just smiled as she starts to eat a plate of buttered shrimp. The flavor of every food that Vincent cooked is just so perfect, greater than hers obviously. And the fact th
