The Brown Bears gathered 1,200 men and women from all over the world. It’s still big compared to the other squads who have acquired only hundreds and not thousands. Nevertheless, Anthony proceeded with his aim. He explained to the new recruits, that even though this squad is dubbed as the worst squad in the world, they are still heroes at the end of the day. They save and they protect. Risking ones life doesn’t need permission, if anyone ever feels that risking ones life is the only way, then they are free to do something heroic. The Brown Bears are a free squad, however, ranks matter too. Anthony then explained the ranks of the Hero system, since it isn’t taught in schools. There are 7 ranks and the names of those ranks derived from the famous chess game. The lowest one obviously was the Pawn. In heroism, the pawns are the weakest link of the association.
