Nevertheless, Anthony proceeded with his aim. He explained to the new recruits, that even though this squad is dubbed as the worst squad in the world, they are still heroes at the end of the day. They save and they protect. Risking ones life doesn’t need permission, if anyone ever feels that risking ones life is the only way, then they are free to do something heroic. The Brown Bears are a free squad, however, ranks matter too. Anthony then explained the ranks of the Hero system, since it isn’t taught in schools. There are 7 ranks and the names of those ranks derived from the famous chess game. The lowest one obviously was the Pawn. In heroism, the pawns are the weakest link of the association. It’s been two weeks since Vincent has been appointed to the 10th unit, and he is doing pretty great. There are no natural disasters happening over the past 2 weeks, but everyone is now ready if it suddenly hits. Vincent wasn’t removed from the 10th unit as the unit itself has learned to appreciate what Vincent was doing. The fact that the division kept such a great talent to handle just documents was absurd. The kid was fantastic. He is leading the unit in some crime scenes if it’s necessary. Even the commander is impressed on what Vincent is doing. Vincent’s chances of winning the rookie of the year are rising significantly and the other rookies are now worrying as Four-Eyed Miles has officially debuted 2 weeks ago. Sophia, who is currently the 3rd rookie in the rankings was very delighted to know that his idiot brother is now in action. 2 days after the bank robbery, there are still no changes in the crime rate of this city. Well, that’s how it goes. Even though there are police officers around and some military men, heroes are still the one responsible for the peace and order of the world. The men and women in uniforms are just there to maintain the balance. Police do their jobs of the street-level crimes, but if a hero manages to find and caught someone red-handed, then they are to take action immediately. Speaking of catching someone red-handed, Vincent is now in an alleyway and is carrying two criminals who snatched someone’s purse and ran away. The two had knives, so Vincent was forced to knock them out. He called for a police vehicle to bring these two to the station and charge them for the crimes they’ve committed. The fight started and Vincent is now facing this huge ogre. It is living up to its traits as one of the strongest monsters out there, but to Vincent, he just roasted the ogre. After defeating the ogre, Vincent went on to fight some cyclopes. They hold huge wooden clubs that has spikes, but again, it was too easy for Vincent. Vincent then turned around to see that some monsters are beginning to slip through their defense. So, he went over there and executed every monster that passes through him. The battle, which was already intense earlier, got much more nerve-racking. The clash between the two was faster than earlier, and it was just incredible and terrifying at the same.
