BOOK 3 CHAPTER 22: THE FIRST HEAD

After getting the money, the two went to the VIP section of the gambling center where the bosses are waiting for them. Vincent placed the briefcase on a coffee table and the bosses opened it. They divided the money for them 3 and they were oh-so-happy to hold 50 million GAMs in that instant.

“The investment is secured. Please give us the address of your place and we will—”

“No, bring it up to my room. Even if I trust you, confiding the exact location of my business will have my privacy be invaded. I hope you understand.” Vincent replied.

“Oh, sure! Good thinking. In case there’s a betrayal, there won’t be anything that would lead your enemy to your place. Great thinking of your first defensive strategy.” Yuji says.

“In any case, the products will be given to my room, thanks for the smooth transaction. Until our next negotiation.” Vincent then shook the hands of the bosses one by one.

Jessica and Vincent then went back to their room to think of their next move. According to Jessica, they need to move quick. They can’t stay here forever and wait. Vincent agreed, because eventually they would end up having no excuse at all. But what is it they need to do? Vincent wants to arrest the bosses one by one, however, it won’t be that easy. They are at the middle of a bustling district, a lot of people will see, and their identities will be exposed. Especially Vincent who is hot in the eyes of the criminals right now. A team up will happen once they start arresting them. Confusion will ensue, and that will make them meet with the top boss impossible. In other words, mission failed.

“We need to think of another way, Vincent. Despite the fact that it isn’t a good idea, we need to at least decrease the number of big names in this facility, it’s too hostile.” Jessica pointed out.

“I’m getting on it.” Vincent replied as he then looked at the ceiling.

He thinks of something for some time, and then, he thought of a plan that is reckless, yet, can be effective if performed right.

“How about we secretly abduct the bosses and incapacitate them then put them in a box and then send them to Violet via the space transfer?” Vincent says.

Jessica’s jaw drops out of disbelief. She doesn’t understand on how Vincent thought of that kind of stuff. It might be effective, yes, but still it’s a bit dark and only murderers can put a body in a box,

“I don’t know if you’re stupid or just dumb. Space transfers only works on items! Not bodies! Think, Vincent, think! You’re tainting the words your siblings are telling about you being a good tactician.” Jessica scolded.

“Yes, the space transfer only works with items. Which is why we will put the body inside a box. A box is an item, and the space transfer might consider the body as part of a parcel or some sort. In any case, think, Jessica, if we pull this off, our problems will decrease, and we will be able to move freely without them here. Besides, they’re criminals.” Vincent told Jessica.

She is still not convinced, though. It’s not about the fact that these people are criminals. Because even criminals have human rights, and they would abide that law. Vincent sighed. Their minds aren’t cooperating to each other at all. It will be hitting two birds with one stone, and yet, Jessica declines the plan and let her sense of justice be the one at the top here. As the two are arguing, the bell rang. Jessica went to the door to see Pedro waiting for them carrying a big box.

“Good day business partners! Here, your supply of drugs.” Pedro greeted as he pushed the box against Jessica softly.

“Come in, sir!” Vincent called.

Pedro chuckled and happily obliged Vincent’s invitation. Jessica puts the box down at the bed and then closed their suite’s door.

“Thank you again for negotiating with us. May your business be successful in the future, and if you need any help—” Pedro then flicked a card in front of Vincent “that’s my calling card, call me if you need my assistance.”

Vincent smiled and then took the card and pocketed it. Pedro was about to walk away and Jessica then opened the door. When Pedro was about to leave the suite, Vincent used his fire powers in secret and fried the cameras all around the room.

“Oh, by the way. I have samples of our drugs in the bathroom, will you come and check it out for if those drugs will work in the market?” Vincent asked.

“Sure, partner! I would be glad to try my business partner’s products!” Pedro happily went into the bathroom first.

“We don’t have drugs, Vince—”

“Just close the door and shut up.” Vincent warned as his face turned serious.

He is about to do something, Jessica knows it. But when Vincent has that kind of expression, even his siblings can’t stop him. So, she will just sit in the bed as she watched Vincent entered the bathroom and closed the door shut behind him.

“Your suite’s bathroom is nice. So, where is the—”

As Pedro turned around, the enemy of all criminals, the enemy of them. The enemy they swore to cut off the head,

“Four-Eyes!” Pedro gritted.

However, before he could even react, a fountain of blood came from his neck and the head of a poor criminal boss is now rolling on the bathroom floor. Vincent, bathing in the blood of the underground boos. It’s a brutal ending, but it’s the ending he deserves as he violated human nature itself. Killing and cannibalizing his victims and sometimes rapes them. He truly is a demon sent to earth to wreak darkness. Vincent then opened the door and asked for Jessica to give him the box this boss gave them. After seeing the blood on Vincent’s body, Jessica quickly rushed over to the bathroom with the box. She threw up at the sight of the head just bathing in its own blood. And the headless body vis just lying there, as lifeless as it can be,

“Vincent, what the hell?! How stupid can you be?” Jessica angrily screamed.

However, no remorse can be seen in Vincent’s eyes. He didn’t regret his actions, as if it was just something he normally do. Now, Jessica understands why Vincent is also called as the Demon Grizzly. He is the counterpart of Anthony, his captain. While Anthony is kindhearted and calm, he is still strong as hell. However, with Vincent, he is both kindhearted but also a little darkness is within him that can turn him into a monster when he gets loose.

“We could get in big—”

“No trouble will happen if we keep this a secret. Now, write something to Violet and let us send this fucker.” Vincent cursed as he then washed himself after packing up the body into the box and sending it to Violet.

While signing some paperwork in her office, Violet was surprised to see that Vincent have mailed her something. Maybe an explanation from earlier. But they’ve already reported the matter to Angelica, and Angelica told Violet already. Violet took the package out and the pungent smell covered the entire office immediately. She slowly opens the box, and a scream can be heard from her office. Angelica who was getting coffee rushed to her sister’s office after hearing the scream. A commotion erupted in the HQ, as this is the first time, they’ve heard their captain screaming. And it seems that she screamed out of fear. Angelica calmed the HQ and asked them to stand down and be quiet. She entered the office and locked the door behind her.

“What’s the matter, sis!” Angelica asked in a hurry.

And without any word from her sister, she looked inside the box too and the sight just caused her to throw up also.

“What the hell?!” Angelica wiped the liquid from her mouth and then picked up a letter,

Dear Violet,

I am sorry for the sight I will cause to you later. However, that body is the body of an infamous criminal. Me and Jessica have decided that we should decrease the threats within the mission so we can do and finish this mission quickly as we are running out of time. Please keep this a secret from the media for a week, and then feel free to announce his death. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Four-Eyes
