VOWS OF VENGEANCE Power Play
Ethan stepped into the elevator the next day and rode it upstairs. He had enough to think about, but most of them included having conversations that were going to shape him to do the right thing instead of wasting it. "Have you considered doing something that is not going to waste your time?" He asked Miranda who was in the right frame of mind the next morning. She had forgotten that she had a midlife crisis the previous night and he was not in a business to remind her. "Yeah, I am planning to hold a meeting with him, and let's see how that goes. I know that he is going to be enthralled by my presence. Sources have made me understand that he probably has so many things against me and is trying to use this as a means of coming closer. It's up to me to fall into his trap or move on with my life."Ethan, although a bit impressed, refused to show any emotions because he realized how important this was to even him. He wasn't going to give her the impression that he cared so much about w
VOWS OF VENGEANCE A Toxic Partnership
Williams received a mail in his inbox and grew vexed immediately he set eyes on the contents. He should have known that that God forsaken boy was going to try to do something to him but he didn't know what exactly. Cassandra came in still recovering from nausea after discovering she was pregnant. "You have become very problematic lately. I don't think I can deal with everything that has been going on or at once. Why have you decided to make me miserable when I'm not the cause of your problems?" She challenged him, setting her phone on video recording. She had a lot of things to think about but she wanted to maintain her dignity. "We are supposed to be a team and not fight against each other. You must have been frustrated but that doesn't mean you should take it out on me. I am not going to stay here and watch you make a mess out of my life." She stated before slamming the folder onto his table. His eyes widened when he saw the contents of the paper. A divorce letter. Williams threw
VOWS OF VENGEANCE The Allies
Ethan and Miranda got into the vehicle and drove off to meet with the attorney; throughout the journey, neither one of them spoke as they were both much too preoccupied with their own thoughts to put any of it into words or even engage in a conversation at all.The truth is that neither of them was a hundred percent certain that this was the most efficient way to go about it but it was the best way that Ethan could think about at the moment and given how sensitive and dire the issue was, he figured it would be best if they thought about the implications of what they were doing much later.Declan was the only one they knew to ask now; if he refused, then they would have to take drastic measures. He exhaled inwardly; it had just dawned on him how low Williams would go to completely ruin his business, so he would go as far as even sacrificing another person's life, and not just another person but his wife. As for Miranda, the wife in question, she was understandably still in great shoc
VOWS OF VENGEANCE Detour
William, who was momentarily shocked and disoriented when he saw the footage, took a second time to rearrange and recompose himself as he thought deeply and as quickly as he could figure out what would happen next, why Ethan had chosen to do something so drastic, and what he could do to counter it as well. He did not have so much time to think however, not just because of how fast the problem was spreading but because of how it became worse gradually as it continued to spread he had to figure out something, anything at all to say to the press that would at least throw them off his scent for a little while longer until he could find a much better solution to the lingering problem. Without standing on ceremony, he rushed out and released a statement to the press as well, not saying anything particularly substantial and merely maintaining that he had nothing involved with the mafia and that all evidence was fabricated fakes and counterfeits and nothing more than that. He also claimed
VOWS OF VENGEANCE A Twist Of Fate
"I can't believe they did this and really thought that they could get away, " William said to his wife as they sat by the table, his anger could be clearly seen on his face even as he spoke, "there's absolutely no way I'm going to let it slide. ""I thought they would be smart enough to accept the money, I didn't expect him to go about things the way he did, " Cassandra said softly after a moment in thought, "it makes me wonder what exactly they have planned and what they have up their sleeves that makes them so confident as to think that they have a chance if any if this goes to court... ""Oh I can say for certain that the bastard Ethan has something up his sleeve that's a given, he always does, I just have to figure out exactly what it is that the two of them are up to, " William replied thoughtfully, "we cannot have them springing up anything new during the hearing. ""That reminds me, about the hearing do you think they may be playing tricks on us, somehow I don't think the court
VOWS OF VENGEANCE Ethan's Quest For Justice
At this time, while all of that was busy happening with Miranda, Ethan was in a different place entirely, the only way he knew what was going on with his wife was of course through the public and through his own interaction with her. He was not even a little worried about her as he knew that William could not do anything to her again, not after all that he had said out to the public. It did not matter how much of the media or the press was in his hands, he would still be in danger if he were to go beyond the line and say or do something, anything that could put her in trouble. In Angola, Ethan kept on finding and revealing more and more secrets regarding William, it was there and then that he discovered that not only was William involved with the mafia and closely linked to the Don, but that he was also into drug trafficking and not on a small scale. This made him even more at ease and he began to gather as much evidence as he could as this would make a strong case against William
VOWS OF VENGEANCE The Fall Of William
"Shit, " William cursed under his breath, and kept pacing as he cursed inwardly over and over, he had not anticipated it, he had not anticipated it at all. Outside his house different people were gathered shouting and protesting, they were not so much that he could not take drastic measures but they were too much for him to control and it was not the time to do things that were so drastic, he could not afford to take the issue lightly and had to think twice before doing anything potentially incriminating. His mind was moving many miles per hour as he pondered deeply, first on how Ethan had somehow managed to get such a bulk of indisputable evidence, and then how he was able to do that through the whole media galore and court case debacle, it looked like he was doing nothing but taking hits from every side, first from the court with Marinda and now from the media with Ethan. His mind was far too unstable for him to even begin to think about the best possible means of escaping com
VOWS OF VENGEANCE Reputation In Tatters
William was just about done with everything at this moment, he had already been kept under study for a long time, and the only good thing from what was happening since Ethan had released those videos and testimonies was the fact that he was now somewhat free from all the paparazzi, but he could not actually tell if that was even a good idea or a bad idea. He had already heard about Cassandra and had mixed feelings about how she was able to leave the country and he was still stuck with the police, but he was too busy to think about that or to put it to heart. At this time he had released a statement to the press telling the public that he would address the issues at a particular time, and that time just so happened to be today, he wanted to address all the issues and all the accusations at once and in an orderly manner, he could not afford to leave anything else to chance, not after all of the threats he had received one a personal level and even to his business. Everyone at the com

Survival of the fittest
Ethan moved out of his house without waiting for anybody's words or anything that people had to say to control his new movements. He would have preferred it if he was able to lead a perfectly secluded life that had no one poke nosing one after the other into something that belonged to him completely. Striding into the office the next morning, he was greeted with a lot of people who wanted to see him all the way and he was a little bit worried about why they felt it was necessary to do all of that. The only thing he wanted right now was some peace and quiet and he intended to get it. He wasn't going to stop at nothing but getting his hands on the deal that was supposed to change his life for good. "I refuse to believe that most of you do not understand that I do not want the paparazzi even until now. I thought everywhere was blocked. I said that I didn't want our contents that are not business related to surface online, is it so hard for people to believe that?!" The snapping of h
Relinquish
Relinquishing all his control and power to somebody who didn't even care about the company that much but just wanted to see him destroyed made Williams worried for himself. He wasn't going to accept something that was going to bring him problems, neither was he going to accept something that was going to land him in trouble in the future. If he could get Ethan's word that he would be protected forever, then he would never need to worry his head about anything else in the world besides to just keep on relaxing and hoping that he got answers soon. "You shouldn't be so sure of yourself whenever you make decisions or offers, sometimes we might have our plans and they end up turning out to be better than anyone else. If you think I'm lying, why don't you try it out? Tell somebody else to take this offer and watch them flip the script on you." He told Ethan stylishly that he was having various plans up his sleeves. Ethan also wasn't going to just wait and expect that the person he was t
The Salesman (II)
Ethan saw the conflicting look on his opponent's face and figured out that he had already clocked in. He just needed to push a little bit, and this man would fall into his trap, and then it would be a done deal, and everybody would part ways. Then he would have the sole ability to do whatever he wanted and get away with it. Most importantly, Williams wanted to take revenge and that was his opening. "I see you as a man who wants revenge at all costs, but you found no one to trust you or attempt to assist you. Would you allow the fear of me winning to overcome you instead of figuring out how you would be able to do the same? Come on, you, of all people, should be smarter than that." The instructions were clear: Ethan wanted to rule every affair related to Williams, and he had a choice of letting that happen or standing ground and making sure that this didn't continue. "You must think that I am a fool not to understand what you are driving at and how this would work right? It's a
The Salesman (I)
William stamped his foot on the ground, weighing his options. It was a little bit great to start weight but he could already foresee the end of this bargain. "Make me a better offer and I wouldn't hesitate." He demanded, his fingers crossed as he waited for what he had planned to come to pass and then he would be able to deflect every form of tyranny that came with his association with Ethan. Ethan laughed, a little bit perplexed that this man in front of him still didn't understand that he had a lot of ideas on his mind. "Let me break this down to you in case you have suddenly forgotten your current dilemma. You are one of the worst people in the world right now, and everyone is looking for a better way of serving you justice; if I can help you find a way of pleading not guilty, you would have to do everything that I say. It isn't even negotiable." "Yeah, right. I would have believed this if I didn't have other plans up my sleeves. I think you are only trying to take advantage of
The Last Deal
Proceeding out of your hidden zone wasn't the best way to go but Williams had practically no choice at this point. She had been hoping for a break and now that he had the opportunity to learn his hands on it he wasn't there to let it slip off his fingers. “I am heading south. You should catch up with me. I am in a black SUV.” Ethan explained. “Alright, then. I'll be there.”Ethan contacted Jada immediately who had begged him to make him know when her opponent was coming out. “He is already heading my way but I don't want you to do anything yet. He doesn't trust me and we have to ensure that he does, if he keeps on suspecting me what good is that? It is only going to complicate issues and that is the last thing I want.” He reminded her. Jada tapped her feet in anticipation of further destroying Williams reputation. She just needed to get footage that she could spread lies about and also involve Cassandra who was trying to leave now that she realized that she probably might be in a
Kick Offs
Williams looked right and left before he could cross the road just to see if anyone was coming behind him or trying to find out where he was about to move to. Ethan watched him from the car where he sat, wondering how this man intended to break out of prison without going through the normal way of pleading. His phone started to ring and he laughed in wordly. This was the best way to deal with people who felt like they had an idea of how life should work instead he was going to make him realize that things didn't go smoothly all the time. “I can see you already in the restaurant, why don't you walk to the car? You don't want to be caught in an open place, do you?” Williams hung up immediately and looked around trying to figure out where Ethan was watching from. Ethan loved the show of shame because now Williams was going to fear him even without saying a word. Williams, mustering courage, called back just to be sure that he was talking to the right person. “I would love to meet
Stowed Away
“THE HEADLINES: A MAN WAS SEEN TRYING TO BREAK OUT OF PRISON AND WAS CONVICTED. RUMORS SAY THAT IT WAS THE FORMER BUSINESS MOGUL, BUT WE ARE YET TO GET ANY INFORMATION.” Ethan watched the news the next day, with a slight shake of his head. There was absolutely no way it wasn't true because Jada had informed him before then.Miranda came in just in time to see the news flashing on the screen and was a little bit confused. “Don't tell me that it is Williams over there.” She said, taking a seat beside him. “I don't see any reason why he should try to break out when he knows that everyone is already fixated on him and what his next move should be. I don't know why he doesn't want to keep his head low. Does he still want to contact us?” She got on speaking. Ethan wasn't in the mood to indulge her or talk right now because he was trying to figure out William's next move. “According to the news like you have seen, it has not been confirmed so we shouldn't be found talking about something
Locked Away
Williams thought about his previous life and how things suddenly went downhill for him. All of this started when she decided to employ Jada. She was the one who ruined his life to the point where it currently was. There was absolutely no way that he was going to be able to be free from this mess if he didn't stand his ground and make sure that she no longer had power over him. He stroked his beards gently, thinking of how things began. She was the only picture that was coming into his mind and at that point there was absolutely nothing he could do to erase it. It was more of an introspective way of thinking as to why things got destroyed beyond repair and how he had lost in the grand scheme of things. "You shouldn't bother yourself about thinking about the past. It's all the matter of time before things begin to work normally. The moment you are able to take out the fact that you need revenge you will be able to be free." Somebody called through the other side of the prison
A failed Plan. (I)
As much as he wanted to prove to himself that he was more than any one who was trying to help him he also knew that there were a lot of things that needed to be assigned. One of them included acting like he didn't have any choice or hope to be free. All the jobs assigned to him the previous day were done with so much enthusiasm that even the fellow inmates were a little suspicious of his new attitude. It wasn't as easy as he posed it to be but at the same time he also faked an apology to demand he had been engaged in an altercation with. His excuse was that he had a bad day and that was why he went off for a man who had done nothing to hurt him. Williams waited patiently counting his breath as the warden moved around to take roll calls as usual. It ended up in a state of nothingness followed by a large breakdown as the warden stopped in front of his cell, looking at him keenly. "Williams, come out!" He commanded.
