Chapter 3, Not a Gentleman.

Elias lent a hand to the cloaked individual, He noticed that the person doesn’t seem to be that older than him or possibly even younger.

“You alright bro, didn’t hurt you did I”. Elias subconsciously spoke softly as he felt the innate and physical weakness of the person he was grasping ahold of.

“Hmm Hmm”. The person responded, clearly still not fully recovered from the concussion.

They looked deeply at Elias’s pure clear eyes, his silky black hair and well defined features, the person was incredibly handsome even as a fourteen or thirteen year old.

“Oh no”. They suddenly jerked, grasping Elias’s arm and attempting to continue running, it was like they were afraid someone will come kidnap them.

But how can they possibly pull someone like Elias without his consent, Elias didn’t even budge an inch from where he was standing.

“What’s wrong, is your mother chasing you as well”. Elias inquired patiently.

“We don’t have time to waste, he’s coming and when he does he’ll definitely kill you”. They said while stammering, they were clearly terrified of this person they spoke off, Elias thought.

But the more they tried to pull him the more Elias wanted to meet this person that’s supposedly going to kill him, but before Elias could even get them to calm down a large dark figure clothed in black somehow appeared in front of him, the person didn’t make any sound, nor did they have any presence what so ever.

Elias was finally stunned, the person appeared without him being able to sense anything at all, it was like how he’s mother simply materialized out of thin air, but this time they was no flash of light but pure dreadful darkness.

But the way he appeared wasn’t the main reason for Elias’s awestricken expression, it was the fact that he didn’t feel anyone’s presence until the person came, which means this person was at the very least as strong as Angel and this time, strong killing intent is being directed at him, quite contrary to Angels play fighting sessions.

Elias is a kid that has never once hesitated to say or do something he felt like doing, it could be because he was confident in Angel’s strength so he wasn’t really worried about not being able to get out of trouble, after all he’s small breasted mother will always be able to beat the bad guys, but what if she couldn’t, no match, or maybe not by he’s side for once in he’s life, well that’s exactly the kind of situation Elias is in at the moment.

Elias immediately composed himself and tried to see if the person could be reasoned with, but before he even spoke a word, a dark sword made off shadows slashed at lighting speed towards him.

Elias immediately twisted his body at an unusual angle, taking full advantage of the limited space to just barely dodge the blade.

“Oh”, the dark clothed adversary said in surprise, even a little dismayed by the fact that a fourteen year old kid managed to even see talk-less of even dodging he’s attack, but who would Angel be if Elias actually got hit by such a careless strike.

Elias immediately gave up on talking he’s way out of this one and grabbed the little dark clothed individual and made a long spring for it, he didn’t even wait to think that they were possibly together since they were both dressed in black.

“You should just let me go, I’m the one he wants”. The person said with a girlish voice.

“You stupid or something, have you seen that bloodthirsty bastard, what if he kills you and sells your little organs to organ smugglers, or even worst he somehow works for one of those messed up nobles that only get it up when they’ve got a kid in chains underneath their basement”.

They immediately became silent after he yelled at them, but it was hard to tell what they were thinking with a cloak over them.

Elias strangely didn’t feel anyone following them from behind, a normal person will think they gave up, but Elias just kept charging straight at the open window, and just like expected a dark shadow suddenly materialized out of the ground and assumed the form of the person that attacked him.

“You can’t get away from someone like me kid, just stay still and obediently di-“. Before the person could even finish, Elias pulled out a little ball like object from he’s left pocket, grasped it with he’s free hand and then waited at the exact moment when the person finished to materialize before tossing it straight at he’s face.

The ball immediately exploded and a red dust like substance was immediately inhaled by the assailant, he screamed in pain, clutching he’s face while struggling to take off he’s mask.

Elias smirked cheekily, “Bitch, getting away from someone like you is what I do every morning when I wake up”.

Elias jumped and kicked the man with both legs before succeeding in pushing him out of their way, he wrapped he’s hand around the persons waist even as they cried out in surprise, Elias didn’t hesitate even for a second to jump down through the window, he clearly already had the whole place memorized from all he’s adventures with Angel.

But only he knew that, The cloaked individual in he’s arms immediately screamed in horror, and that was when Elias realized they were female, but that didn’t stop him from holding her tighter so she wouldn’t fall off in a different direction, Elias was no gentle man to begin with.

Thanks to Elias’s heroism and great sacrifice from giving up he’s young sturdy body to hold onto the fair maiden they were able to safely escape from the assailant, they both landed atop a shop stand, breaking the fall with the cloth he used to prevent the drizzle from destroying he’s goods.

But unfortunately for him it was also raining children and he’s oranges immediately got squashed from the impact.

“My oranges”.
