Defamed and Badly Treated

The sister-in-law gave William a hard slap, and the woman was furious to see her husband treated so badly by a coward in her own family.

"Sis, I have to tell you. Thomas and Bianca are lovers. They're both affair on back you!" William confessed all the truth he saw earlier. The woman furrowed her eyebrows, while Thomas walked up to his wife and said, "That's not true, Arianna! He's lying, William accused me!"

Instead of believing him, Arianna slapped her brother-in-law back, "Don't ever accuse my husband! He's a good man, not a coward like you!" Her sister-in-law scoffed and insulted her with harsh words, but it didn't make William upset. Hasn't insults and verbal abuse from the Patterson family been his daily bread? He was immune to it all. It's just that he looked disappointed when his sister-in-law didn't believe him.

"What's going on here?" Nikki walked up to them after secretly following Arianna. Although her attitude was so arrogant, Nikki tried to break up their three-way fight. "We're in mourning right now! At least you feel the loss of Dad and forget your problems for a moment!" What Nikki said was true, and they soon returned to Mr. Patterson's ward.

The funeral ceremony was attended by colleagues, all staff, and other relatives as a final tribute to Mr. Patterson. His sudden departure shocked the entire population of Melbourne, as the 69-year-old man had never suffered from a serious illness and still appeared healthy in his old age. Unfortunately, Mr. Patterson had to pass away due to an accident that happened to him. Currently, the personal driver who was driving the car during the accident is at the police station to be questioned.

The Patterson family is deeply sorrow, especially Mrs. Patterson. She has cried and fainted numerous times over the loss of her husband. The middle-aged woman is devastated, as her husband did not even say goodbye to her.

"Where is Thomas? Why isn't he here?" Her eyes are fixed on the mourners at present, realizing that the b*st*rd is not with the family. He should be present, considering he is a part of the Patterson family.

"Aw, forget it. Why should I bother with that crazy lunatic."

The funeral went smoothly, although it left a deep sorrow for the family left behind. After the funeral ended, all the mourners left the Patterson family residence. The once bustling mansion was now so quiet, with only the sound of weeping left, especially from Mrs. Patterson and her three daughters. Shortly after, Thomas arrived with several men. However, one of the men caught William's attention. He was badly beaten and had his hands tied, while two other men seemed to be forcing him. His brother-in-law walked up to William with his arrogant demeanor, 'I've come to bring a surprise for you, William.' The man grinned widely, seemingly planning something for William. But what was it?

“What do you mean?” William asked, grabbing Thomas' collar and looking at him cynically.

“Let's just go inside first. You'll find out soon enough.” His brother-in-law raised his eyebrows, then brushed off William's tight grip on his collar." Meanwhile, William let 'em walk into the house first, while he walked behind his brother-in-law and the guy he brought with him, watching them from a distance. He felt like Thomas was scheming something at the moment.

"Hey, Mom? Hey, Babe?" Thomas greeted his mother-in-law and Arianna, who were sitting next to each other. Mrs. Patterson couldn't stop cryin', while her eldest daughter kept calm in' her down. Meanwhile, Nikki and Bianca were sittin' elsewhere, and Thomas' arrival didn't seem to bother them.

Arianna frowned as Thomas appeared just after her father-in-law's funeral. That man had disappeared somewhere earlier. Arianna walked up to her husband. "Where've you been?" Her stare was icy. Meanwhile, William was watchin' them from the entrance.

Thomas then apologized to his wife and said, "I came here to tell y'all. If Daddy’s death wasn't just an accident, it was murder." Mrs. Patterson felt tight in her chest when she heard that. The middle-aged woman walked up to her son-in-law. "What do you mean?" She was so curious. Mrs. Patterson still didn't fully understand what Thomas was sayin'.

With a glance towards the man he had brought in with his hands tied, Thomas hit his head and said, "Quick, tell the truth!"

The man, who looked disheveled with wounds in several parts of his body, then knelt before Arianna and Mrs. Patterson, causing the two women to exchange glances and squint their eyes. "What is this?" Arianna didn't understand her husband's purpose.

"I'm sorry, Madam. I'm the one who killed Mr. Patterson on the commands of Mr. William." The man immediately revealed that the accident that happened to Mr. Patterson was due to the car's faulty brakes. He admitted that he had damaged the car's brakes, causing the accident, and he confessed to doing so at William's command. Hearing this, William was stunned by his admission. The man walked clumsily towards them, "What do you mean?!" He didn't even recognize the man brought in by Thomas to confess his guilt.

Mrs. Patterson stormed towards William and gave her son-in-law a hard slap, "You're already trash in this family, and now you're a killer too? You jerk!" Glaring fiercely, the middle-aged woman beat her son-in-law.

"Wait, Mom. I didn't do this! I'm being slandered!" William was evasive, but his mother-in-law didn't care and pushed him down. Thomas immediately ordered his men to beat William up. Two men grabbed both of William's hands, one of them immediately delivered hard punches and powerful kicks, occasionally hitting his solar plexus which made him groan in pain. His fate was so unfortunate, from a distance he looked at Bianca who seemed not to care about him. The blonde-haired woman just stared flatly as William was beaten by Thomas' men. 

"Why did God give me such a bad life?"

After seeing William battered, his suffering did not end there. Thomas immediately took her to the police station.
