Revealed Past

“Please tell me why you hurt your own father-in-law," a police officer interrogated William for a statement. Apparently, Thomas set him up. His brother-in-law accused and provided evidence that led to William in various ways. He was a real b*stard, William would never forget it!

"I didn't even do anything!" William denied the police statement that he had hurt his own father-in-law. He didn't even know the man who claimed to be William's henchman to sabotage Mr. Patterson's car brakes. However, he did meet the stranger at the office during his inauguration as CEO of his family's parent company, and they talked privately. But their talk was only about work.

Meanwhile, the police in front of him continued to corner him with questions, making William angry enough to bang the table hard. He went wild and made a fuss, and some police officers came and took him back to the holding cell.

His steps halted when Thomas stood in front of him, with a smug smile and mocking him. "A loser like you is suited to living here." William stared at him sharply, not even smiling.

William approached, pulling his brother-in-law's shirt collar, "You b*stard! You asshole!"

Furious, he gave a powerful kick to Thomas's stomach. His brother-in-law fell over immediately. William could no longer restrain his patience because Thomas had gone too far. Two police officers guarding him tried to hold William back. But it was all in vain. He was so angry at Thomas that he shouted like a madman. When Thomas was about to get up, William kicked his brother-in-law again, and he fell down again.

The two police officers immediately forced William into the holding cell to intervene between William and Thomas, but he went crazy and tried to rebel. Until a police chief came and gave a strong kick to the solar plexus, William groaned in pain.

"Follow the rules! Your come here is just trash!" The officer screamed angrily after giving William a painful kick. The two officers guarding him took him back to the holding cell. His suffering didn't end there; some inmates dominated by murderers and one of them was a psychopath, and all the inmates in the holding cell had tattoos with different pict on different parts of body. They looked at William, who was lying helpless with disgust. He had to be locked up in prison until the trial was held. An inmate approached him, "Wake up!" His deep voice made William open his eyes slowly, and sometimes the inmate kicked William's body softly when he didn't respond.

"Please, help me." With a soft and stuttering voice, William reached out his hand for help to the inmate in front of him. The tattooed man grimaced and spat recklessly.

"It’s okay!" The man reached out his hand and grabbed William's hand. Instead of helping him up, the inmate slammed William's body hard to the floor. William became even more helpless, the man groaned in pain while clutching his waist. As if his bones were broken and unable to bear the pain, William could only cry in pain. Meanwhile, the other inmates in the cell laughed uncontrollably, ignoring William's condition.

"Thank goodness you're awake now," a middle-aged man breathed a sigh of relief as he saw William come to. Meanwhile, William still felt sore all over his body, but it wasn't as bad as before. His eyes stare around the all-white walled room, with an IV tube attached to his left hand.

"Where am I?" William asked with a confused look, then looked at the middle-aged man next to him. He squinted when he saw the man he had met at his CEO inauguration a few days ago.

"Isn't it you..."

"That's right, Sir. I'm very pleased that you still remember me," the middle-aged man responded politely to William. Occasionally, he glanced at William with his friendly smile. The man looked around the room with a puzzled expression, as William was in the hospital. How did he end up here?

"I brought you here, Sir," the middle-aged man named Matthew explained, who had brought William to the hospital for medical treatment. William frowned, "How could that be?" He couldn't believe it just like that.

After several inmates tortured him, William passed out and was unconscious without anyone helping him. Until one of the police officers, who was a close friend of Matthew, told him and brought William to the hospital. There, William received special treatment from the medical team because there were injuries on several parts of his body.

William was very grateful to Matthew for his kindness, and the middle-aged man felt embarrassed. "I'm sorry, sir. Because of me, you had to endure a very bad life," Matthew bowed his head, a deep regret felt at this moment. William squinted, not understanding the man's words.

"What do you mean?"
