"But, Sir..."

"No more time, Matthew! He's my son, he must be the heir in my family, Matthew." Hendry said with a sad look.

A gunshot was heard from outside, startling those in the room. Hendry started to panic, holding his newborn baby in his arms, kissing both of his little angel's cheeks for a moment.

"Forgive me, son. I have to do this..." With a heavy heart, Hendry handed his child over to Matthew, asking his trusted man to take his son far away. As a father, he didn't want anything bad to happen to his precious child.

Matthew complied with his master's orders, immediately leaving through the back door to escape with him. He felt sorry for his master's baby.

"You have a tough fate, young master." After successfully leaving Hendry's residence, Matthew paused for a moment and looked pitifully at the baby boy in his arms. So pitiful, but his master's decision was indeed right. The heir of his family must remain alive and safe. Matthew went to a village called Moonee Valley.

Over there, Matthew met a couple who were unable to have children in their marriage. "I plead with y'all, take good care of this child," Matthew entrusted baby Hendry to the couple. 

They happily accepted, and that night he decided to stay in the village and return to his master's house the next morning. Matthew chose not to take care of his master's child, fearing that if Roemy or his henchmen ever found out that he was taking care of baby Hendry, the innocent child's life would be in danger.

Meanwhile, Hendry is trying to escape with his wife and the doctor who helped deliver Jessica's baby. They left before Roemy could find them, on a very tense night with thunder rumbling loudly and heavy rain pouring down accompanied by strong winds.

"I can't take it anymore, Honey." Jessica's voice was trembling as she held back the pain after giving birth. She should be in bed recovering from the exhaustion of childbirth. But unfortunately, circumstances forced them to keep moving to avoid being caught by her brother-in-law.

"Hang on a little longer, Honey. We'll be there in just a few meters." Ahead of them, they can see a residential area. However, Jessica couldn't hold on any longer. She faints as the rain pours harder. Fresh blood flowed from the base of her thigh. This makes Hendry and the doctor panic.

Hendry, who was in a panic, immediately carried his wife's body and ran during a heavy rain downpour. They quickly headed to the nearest house to ask for help from the residents. Hendry knocked on each house door until one of the residents opened the door and helped them. The doctor immediately provided first aid for Jessica, but unfortunately, she had already passed away due to the bleeding she experienced. Hendry was truly devastated by the loss of the woman he loved so much.

As Matthew was about to return to his boss's mansion, he was suddenly kidnapped by a group of Roemy's henchmen who were still guarding the Hendry mansion area.

"Tell me, where is Hendry?!" When he was at Roemy's headquarters, he was intimidated and treated badly by him. Roemy yelled as if a devil had possessed him.

"I don't know." Matthew answered by yelling and struggling to free his tied hands. Roemy didn't believe him so easily, he tightly gripped Matthew's jaw and stared at him with intimidation, "Tell me the truth, or you'll die in my hands?"

"I escaped alone." He tried to tell the truth to convince the bastard. However, Roemy became angry and slapped Matthew hard, causing him to fall along with the chair he was sitting on.

"Take him out! Dump him far away!" Roemy shouted, ordering his men to throw Matthew away. Two of Roemy's men immediately released Matthew and dragged him out of the room.

"You bastard, Roemy! I swear in the name of Jesus, you will get what you deserve for your actions!"

Roemy ignored Matthew's oath, and the two men who were taking Matthew immediately forced him out. Before leaving, Matthew was drugged and his head was covered with a black cloth with his hands still tied.

Matthew was taken to a remote village in Eastern Australia. He was isolated in a secluded village. Before dumping him, two of Roemy's men had abused him and accidentally hit his head on a hard rock, causing Matthew to lose consciousness. Then, they threw him into a pile of garbage.

Matthew suffered a concussion that caused him to have amnesia at that time, not remembering anything about his previous life.

While Matthew briefly gave a name to his boss’s baby, calling him William Frank, he was raised in the village of Moonee Valley to keep his true identity secret. However, he had to accept the poor economic status of his foster parents.

"Sorry, Mr. William." Matthew apologized for making his life so miserable and causing him so much trouble. William gave a slight smile and said, "You don't need to apologize, Sir." At that moment, he wondered where his father was.

"So, where is my father now?" Before William could get an answer to his question, two policemen entered the room and approached him. Although Matthew had taken him to the hospital, William was still under strict police guard as a suspect.

"I'll let you know later." Right now, he couldn't do anything to help William. However, he had already planned something to free his boss from the charges brought against him by Thomas.

Two days later, William's trial was held, and many reporters and journalists came to cover the proceedings this afternoon. Meanwhile, William sat in the courtroom resignedly. Although he did not commit the murder of his father-in-law, the evidence presented by Thomas to the police a few days ago strengthened William's status as a suspect.

The trial was attended by the Patterson family, including Bianca, who had been in jail for several days and didn't even visit her husband. William's gaze now turned to Bianca, but his wife seemed indifferent and didn't care about him.

As the trial was about to begin, the man who claimed to be William's henchman and was ordered to harm Mr. Patterson was absent. Meanwhile, Thomas was eagerly awaiting his arrival. However, he received news from his henchman that the man had been found dead, having committed suicide by hanging himself in his own residence.
