Regrets

"It seems like they're no longer chasing me." Gasping for breath, James stopped walking. He looked around to check if the Death Hole members were no longer chasing him.

The rain was pouring heavily, and the teenager needed to find shelter soon. James reached into his pants pocket and found $50. He saw a shop on the side of the road and stopped there. He ordered a bottle of Vodka to warm up his body.

His hand was hurting; he must have sprained it when he fell from the height while escaping from William's house. The teenager kept thinking about his foster father's current situation.

"I'm sorry, Dad." He felt so regretful that he started blaming himself. James was frustrated, but not long after, a middle-aged man approached him, from head to toe.

"Oh my God!" James was surprised to see Matthew in front of him.

"Why are you here?" He asked nervously and quickly swallowed his saliva. The teenager was so scared of him that he immediately knelt in front of him.

"I beg you, don't jail me!" He
