Chapter fifty five

"Yes sir. Of course." I answered. Wilson and moved aside to let him in.

Mr. Wilson came inside, observing all that was around. Luckily for me, I cleaned up the mess Xavier made long before now.

"I like what you did with the place." Mr. Wilson joked and I laughed. "I'm sorry that you have to live in the attic. I don't know what is wrong with my wife and why she hates you." Mr. Wilson said.

"When you are as poor as me, it's easy to be hated, sir. I'm used to that treatment from others." I said. "I just need a breakthrough in my life. Even God knows that I have suffered overdue." I added.

Mr. Wilson looked at me with pity in his eyes, "and your breakthrough will be provided at the right time. Be sure of that." Mr. Wilson said. "Sir, I'm sorry that you have nowhere to sit. I apologize for keeping you standing." I said.

Mr. Wilson chuckled, "if I wanted to sit, I'd already had my butt on the floor once I came in. I'm okay like this." Mr. Wilson said.

"Devon," he called my name. "Sir?
