Chapter twenty one

"No issue," I said and drove away. I made it to my son's mansion and parked inside after the gates were opened for me.

I opened the car door and stepped out. I threw the keys at the approaching driver and he missed it. As the key fell to the floor I took off my glasses and scowled at the terrified driver.

"Madam... I... I am very sorry. It won't repeat itself." the driver pleaded with me, already predicting what would happen to him next.

"You are right about something," I said as I folded my glasses with both my hands.

"This is not going to repeat itself," I said. "Consider this your last night here," I added and started to walk away.

I paused my steps and without turning around I said, "And by the way. You will not be paid a dime for this month."

I resumed heading towards the entrance of the mansion and didn't bother to stop as the driver yelled from behind me.

"Please, Mrs. Wilson! I need the money! You can fire me but please let me receive this month's payment!" he sounded as if in
