"Now, which way should we go?" Alex, who was currently in the middle of the forest with Intan, frowned when he heard Intan's question. It should have been her guiding the way, but Intan was asking him instead.

"Shouldn't you be showing the way, Intan? I've been kidnapped; I don't know the way," Alex said, looking at Intan with trust.

Intan tried to remember, scanning her surroundings, but she couldn't recall where she came from. She couldn't even remember where she parked the car.

"I actually forgot which way I came from," she admitted, glancing briefly at Alex before looking around.

Alex sighed in frustration. Intan had only been here for less than an hour, but she had already forgotten the way they came.

If it weren't nighttime, Alex might have been able to see more clearly, but in the darkness, he couldn't make out the right path.

With no light at all, they might get lost once they left the building where they were held captive.
