Athan POV

Knowing demons are behind the attacks of the missing students, wasn't a surprise.

I suspected similar thing.

I drove my self to my parent place and demanded lot of answers from them.

I opened the door and got a tight hug from my mum, she is my life and everything.

"You didn't tell us you were coming over. This is such a pleasant surprise."she uttered in excitement.

Nice to see you again"I said,curving a smile on my face.

"feels good to have you back. How is your studies"my dad smiled, coming closer to my direction.

"I didn't come here to discuss about my studies!"I groaned.

"Have a seat dear, I will prepare your favorite meal"my mum uttered, changing the topic.

"No need to do that, I am not hungry"I blurted and sat on the couch with my leg Crossed.

"what wrong son? why the sudden attitude.?" my mum questioned.

" Enough! stop acting like you care!"I groaned and lowered my gaze to the floor.

"Don't dare talk to your mother in that manner, don't forget she is your mother"My father blasted in anger.

I gave a smirk and turned my gaze to his direction, without blinking an eye.

"Am I just lucky or curse to have powers or is there something more to it."I uttered.

"But we've talked about this son!"my dad groaned.

"I known am not human, speak up!"I yelled.

We need to tell him, I think it time."She said as tears string down her eyes.

"Am sorry son, but we hid this,cause we both wanted you to live a normal life.

"I'm a vampire demon and your mother is__"my father uttered but my mum interrupted.

"I'm a werewolve" my mum said.

I widened my eyes in surprise, it was something I expected.

We wanted to tell you this but___"her voice cut off by his snarl.

"But what!? make me believe am some freak with strange powers!

And this necklace? "I groaned, highly baffled by their words.

We didn't lie about the necklace, it...it absolute preventing seen and unseen creatures to know your true identity, it for your safety"she signed.

I'm scared zeref! that school ain't safe for our son, what if something bad happens to him"she signed.

"Am not a kid anymore. You don't have to worry about me,"I said and left in rage of anger, right before they could utter a word.

Ivy POV

It 6pm. The night was fast approaching. I put on my favorite dress and drive my way to his apartment.

It took me 30min to locate his home, I tried to call him on phone, but couldn't reach him.

I knocked on his door, still unsure if I was in the right apartment. I doubled check the card before walking in.

I walk round the apartment, and admired the furnished furniture and beautiful wall paint.

His home has his exact scent, like the scent of spring.

Couldn't believe he was this rich.

"Hello ma'am how can I help you"A beautiful looking lady in maid outfit approached me.

"I...I..m miss ivy, Athan's course mate" I stuttered.

"yes ma'am, my master already told me you were coming.

"Master! you mean you serve Athan?" I gasped in surprise.

"yes" she replied and gave a slight bow.

I took a deep breath of relief after knowing she was just his maid.

But it no doubt she was very pretty and Wondered why he employed a maid this pretty .

"Would you like a cup of coffee?"she asked, putting on a cheerful smile.

"I don't drink coffee. I'm okay,thanks."I replied.

"Call me when you need something ma'am, she said and left.

I took a seat on the sofa patiently waiting

I wanted to see that beautiful eyes of his,ignoring the fact he had Claus and fangs.

He had been my savior earlier this week.

You came! welcome ivy." I heard a similar voice from behind, it was Athan. He was absolutely mind blowing,with precise features. he had a thick eyebrows and a lot of black soft hair, his eyes flinched into dark brown eyes.

His wet hair drip across his face and his red lip drawn my attention to it view.

"Athan, nice seeing you too" I said and quickly stood on my feet.

He walked slowly to my direction and didn't take his gaze off mine.

"You came on time than I expected.

You didn't hesitate to see me"he said, giving a sided smile.

Hesitate! You... You not even my type! I came here only for the assignment and my safety"I yelled and turned my gaze away.

He put on his singlet, while the maid assisted him in putting on his jacket.

"Damn"I bit my lips in jealousy.

"So you can't put on a jacket yourself?" I blurted.

"Do you have a problem with that?"he questioned.

" No! I'm just worried about the poor maid. You stressing her for such a petty work.

"Am literally enjoying this ma'am.

Master Athan didn't order me to do this,I'm doing this by my own will." she blasted.

"Obviously I can see that" I grumbled.

What your problem!?"He raised his eyebrows.

"it...it noting, can we start with the assignment"I stuttered.

" yes"He nodded.

He explained every details giving multiples examples. He was a better teacher than I expected. He was calm and less agitated.

"Thank you,thank you, thank you"I appreciated, giving him a tight hug.

" You don't need to thank me, am always at your service miss."He said curving a smile.

"It time to take a nap. Am sure you don't wanna be late for class tomorrow.

I..I heard you are sick, hope you've taken drugs?"he uttered.

"y....yes"I stuttered.

I was blown by his words. couldn't believe he was worried about my health.

"Miss flora would take you to your room."he said.

"Do you mean, I would be staying alone in a room?"I uttered and bit my lip.

Do you mind sharing the Same bed with me?"He smirked and raised his eyebrows.

"No..no..no, am glood, thanks." I stammered and followed the maid to my room.

The colour of the light matched the tiles and furniture, the bed was extremely large and soft. I laid on the bed and lowered the lamp.

I closed my eyes for a good night sleep. But the knock from the window, made me swallowed nervously.
