Are you okay ivy?" Sera asked while coming close to me, but i fainted before she could  reach me.

I opened my eyes slowly and met Athan beside me. His  face  like  the  moon , pale and somehow  wavering.  I could  get the  gist of his  features,  but  none  of it stuck in my mind, beyond an impression  of extreme  beauty. His  long hair wafted  around  him like  black smoke, Its tendrils  curling  and moving  of it own volition.

"Where am I? What happened to me?"I asked as I narrowed my eyes.

"You are at my place. you passed out in school. Why did you freak out?"He asked as he Knotted his eyebrows.

"Am next Athan, Whoever killed Anita is after me. I...I don't wanna die."I cried out giving him a tight hug.

"Relax am here for you, noting would harm you ivy"He whispered and gave  a tight hug.

"You haven't eaten, what would you like to eat?he asked in a low tone.

"I.....I..am not hungry Athan. I need noting else, but you by my side."I wailed.

He widened his eyes by my word, and couldn't gaze directly into my eyes.

He was hurt, seeing me in that state. He lifted his hand using his finger to wipe off my tears.

His touch on my skin sent sweet chill to my spine.

Seeing his face drove out the fear in me.

"Will you spend the night at my place?

I want to stay here with you Athan, I feel quite save when you are close to me"I said looking straight into his eyeballs flinch into sapphire.

They Twinkle like the stars at night  and flecked with gold  like beach pebbles.

He gasped at my words and turned his gaze away from mine. I couldn't  read  his  expression, but could  tell he was battling  within.

Athan POV

She looks innocent, when she speaks,

What if she got to find out am a full hybrid of three species? how would she react? Would she still feel free around me?

"You didn't tell me Tamika was your cousin, I thought she was a random girl, she said as she lowered her gaze.

"Was she jealous?"I muttered.

"Why are you so bothered about it, it none of your business kitten"I replied.

"Who are you calling kitten!?  don't think I was jealous or something.

I was just being considerate"She fumed in anger.

I held her face and felt her temperature with my palm, her temperature as suddenly rise."She gasped at every touch I made on her skin.

"Go take a shower, your temperature is high! I would get you a drug at the pharmacy"I  said and stormed to leave, but got stopped by  her  voice.

"Wait Athan!"I....I'm fine, It normal.  I get high temperature whenever am nervous or scared"She sighed.

Ivy POV

I was actually feeling hot due to his presence.

He lean close to me like he was trying to kiss me. I gasped as he reached for my zip, zipping it down.

I smiled inwardly. Was he gonna do it with me?

"Done, I have helped you with your zip. Take a bath and have a rest"he said.

I was a bit disappointed but glad he was here to give me a hand.

I went to the shower, undressed my self and felt the cool chill of water on my skin.

I felt like staying with him like this, without going to that spooky college of mine.

I dried my self and remembered, I have no cloth to wear.

"Dang it! I had to repeat this cloth for the night"I sighed.

The door shut open ,which made me gasp.

It was Athan, he handed me a light white sleeveless gown without gazing at my direction.

I took it from him and immediately shut the door close.

This could be his cousin dress "i thoughtfully said.

I wore the gown and felt comfortable with it, then found out it was a bit transparent.

A little glimpse of my breast was a bit visible. I opened the door slowly and walk straight to my bed.

There he stood, dumbstruck by my appearance, he glanced at me and couldn't take his eyes off.

I brought my arms against my chest and turned my gaze away from him.

"You such a brat! ,

you purposely brought this to me so you could__you such a pervert"I groaned.  He walked slowly to my direction and loosened my hair, making it fall on my shoulder.

You look beautiful when you leave your hair this way"He said as leaned  closer  to my view. I ordered flora to get this for you at the shopping store.

If you don't like it, there are a lot more in the wardrobe, they are all yours"He uttered.

I was surprise and didn't know how to express my gratitude.

I went to the wardrobe and saw lot of expensive female wears,

Like I was about to open a shopping mall.

"It...it...much and quite expensive,

You should have bought something less expensive and few.

You've done a lot, thank you"I appreciated as tears stream down my eyes. He had be of a huge help to me starting from the first day I saw him, I have something to tell you Athan" I signed.

"What is it! am listening?He replied in a shrilled voice.

I leaned close to him and place a kiss on his lips which made him gasped in surprise.
