Unforgettable night

Kirochi POV

I ran in tears breathlessly. He was coming after me, Demon Tika finally succeeded in deceiving me. I will never spare him a chance to kill me.

Even if the road lead to hell, I will run till the very end; Just to save myself and my unborn child.

It hurt that the person you actually need doesn't need you, but needed to witness your doom and death.

Blood dripped down from my shoulders and my bare feet stained the grass with  blood. I struggled to get out of the village, before things escalated. I never want to stand a chance to be killed by a demon.

I need to be alive for the sake of the village, for the sake of the tukira tree and for my unborn child.

I was barely able to see past the tears and wind clinging my eyes. I trip on a step, crying out as I lost my balance and  tumbled;  falling down the hills of Surili, obtaining scratches and bruises on my skin.

"You can't run from me! you can't hide either!" A voice groaned from behind.

It was demon Tika, the man I once loved. He put on an evil smirk on his face as in walks towards my direction.

It saddens me to make him have the knowledge of my weakness.

I watched the  dark obstruction still covering the surface of the moon and prayed it fade off.

"you... you we never get away with this Taika,

you will never succeed" I muttered and struggled on my feet. But my weakness brought me against the ground.

He brought out his Claus and shoved it in my rib,making blood gushed out my mouth.

I screamed in terror and pain, realizing there was no escape to death.

"You are quite stubborn, Why won't you  die so easy. All I need his to obtain your power  and noting more.

Never knew it was quite easy to fool a powerful priestess like you"He chuckled and leaned close to my face. He shoved his tongue out and licked the blood on my skin.

I gasped in relief as the dark obstruction cleared off.

I regained my powers in the presence of the moon. But wasn't able to kill him.

"l am the last chosen Moon priestess of the Tukira tree. I cursed you by the sun and the moon.

The day will hurt you and your night would be filled with blood and pain. Your eyesight would be noting but darkness." I cursed.

His eyeballs faded away and  his skin suffered the riot of my curse.

"You can't obtain my powers Taika, cause my soul and  powers would be reincarnated," I gasped and force out the last power in me.

He groaned in pain and teleported.

"Sister kirochi! sister kirochi!" I heard my sisters voice from afar.  She was in search of me. I couldn't voice out, cause my throat as already dried up.

I lost my baby and I was loosing my life as well. I was empty  with the fate of defeat. He never gave the listening ears to hear the news of my pregnancy.

I curved a smile as my sister came close to my direction.

Her eyes was filled with anguish and pain.

"Nooo!she yelled and place my wet bloody head on her lap.

"You... you can't leave me sis! You can't die!

take half  of my life if it possible." she sobbed in terror.

"Enough! you have to keep living, if you want to see me again." I said and unhook my necklace from my neck.

I  was ready to take the next  drastic step to death in other to live a new life in a new body

"I would be back sis,  my soul would be rebirth in another body!" I smiled. But couldn't hold the tears that run down my cheeks.

I put a drop of my blood on my necklace to fully purify it. I need to assure the safety of the village before I pass out.

"when I die the tukira leaf would completely fall off and would never glow  to send off demons. As  long as you wear this, it would prevent demons from harming or coming close to you. protect the villagers.

When have been reborn, the tree would once again light up and this necklace would lead you to my reincarnation. I will choose someone by my side, someone who possess a pure heart to defeat Demon Tika to death, Don't f...forget to remember me about my  past life" I muttered and closed my eyes to death
