"It's getting late already. They should have returned. Why are they wasting time in fetching the evidence or is that difficult? I thought Mark assured me that he had everything under control?" Christian said as he looked worried. He paced around tirelessly and placed his hands on his head to think.

He has a negative feeling that Detective Job might have done something bad to destroy the evidence Mark was supposed to submit, which would of course set Christian free.

"Can you stop preaching negativity? We don't have much energy around here. All we need is optimism to desire a better result." Emily's father suggested

"Optimism? I doubt if that's ever going to happen." Chris argued. He might be brave enough but he can't deny the fact that optimism is gradually departing from him.

How can you even think of such a thing? How can you even harbor such negative thoughts in your head? The Detective can't do anything stupid to destroy the evidence.
