Chapter Forty Four

Emily and Stephanie continued moving around each other as their plans failed. Christian was nowhere to be found.

“Could you find him?” Emily uttered, panting.

“No,no. I tried my best, but I couldn't even get a hint of where he could have gone,” she added.

“I think we should actually try calling his number again,” Stephanie suggested.

“I did that while walking around. I know that he won't pick up his phone, so while walking around, I continued calling hoping I'll hear the phone ring,” she explained.

“I don't think something is wrong. Maybe he is somewhere,” Stephanie added, dusting herself.

Emily took her reply seriously and she started suspecting her.

“It's fine if you're tired. I can do the remaining myself. If I can't find him, I would let the security know, or meet him later,” she added, trying to let Stephanie go.

“That's fine. You should be careful too,” Stephanie replied and left.

Stephanie was fed up fighting for the same person who could not fight for him. On the other hand, t
