Chapter Forty Three

Christian was not sure about what was going on, but as soon as he wanted to meet Alice's Father, Alice showed up.

“Hey, you look like you were going somewhere,” she interrupted.

“Ehmm,”Christian murmured as he wasn't sure about what to say.

“It's fine. I wanted to discuss some things with you, do you mind?” she asked softly.

It made it easier for Christian to agree with her.

“Alright then, we can,”he allowed. They moved towards an empty space in the corner of the hall.

Emily was worried sick about where Christian could be.

“Where could he have gone to? I've been searctand I can't even get a glimpse of him,” she murmured to herself.

After being tired, and she thought about resting, she realized it was about his own life.

“No,” she uttered and continued.

Alice knew about Harry's movement towards Christian. Christian pondered shortly about what Alice could want to talk about.

“I sent the file to you earlier. What's the matter? Was there a mistake?” He asked nicely.
