Chapter Sixty Eight

Emily helped Stephanie to gather her bags so she could return to her parents. She couldn't control how nervous she felt.

“I don't know why but I feel so restless. I feel like I should not return today,” Stephanie uttered, grabbing her bag and looking around.

“You shouldn't feel that way. Everything will go great. Afterall, you wanted to see them. You should listen to your heart,” Emily advised.

She later packed her bags and left. While she was on the go, Emily started thinking about how she would approach her father about the marriage and how she was treated. She was moved to her hometown immediately after Stephanie left.

Her sham husband was not even looking in her direction, he was not facing where she sat and his head was up too high.

Her heart pounded in fear, she could only hope it was not what she was thinking, what it looked like.
