Venus (Chapter 6)

VENUS (Chapter 6)

One month later. Venus' condition is better. Very good in fact. His physique has recovered and the scars on his face and other parts of his body are starting to improve.

"How are you, is there still pain?" asked a man named Frans Hadiningrat, to Venus who was busy exercising physically in the backyard of the mansion.

"It's getting better, sir. My condition is better than before. Thank you because Mr. Frans wanted to help me. If Mr. Frans wasn't there at that time, who knows what my fate would be now," replied Venus, as she put down the wooden block she used to practice earlier. on the table.

Frans patted Venus on the shoulder, smiled and said, "I am also grateful to you, Venus. So far I have never felt calm, but after I got to know you, my life feels more relieved and protected."

Frans also invited Venus to sit in another corner of the courtyard of his mansion. Venus complied with this wish. During her stay here, Venus never once denied what Frans said.

There was a round table made of iron and teak wood as a base. There are also three pairs of chairs made of iron and wood too.

"Sit down!" Frans asked, pulling out the chair he wanted to sit on.

Venus also agreed. He also pulled out the chair. After the two of them sat down, one of the waiters came to deliver two glasses containing different juices.

Avocado juice for Venus, while mango juice for Frans Hadiningrat. The waiter served the two drinks, before finally leaving Frans.

"Drink! You must be thirsty, right, after practicing since this morning."

Venus reached for the glass in front of her eyes, "Thank you, sir." He sipped the avocado juice slowly. Until the contents are finished, there is nothing left. Is it because you are thirsty or hungry? Venus didn't leave a single drop of the juice behind.

Meanwhile, Frans still had some of his juice left and started his conversation again, "After this, what do you want to do? Are you going to immediately take revenge on the people who dumped you?" Frans asked to continue the conversation which had been delayed.

Venus's eyes darted left and right, "I don't know, sir? I don't have any plans for the future either. I really want to repay those who have made me like this. Until my revenge is avenged, I will never make them live in peace !" groaned Venus, clenching her fists tightly.

Frans could see how much revenge Venus had. The figure of a twenty-five year old young man, whose meeting was almost filled with heated debate.

Frans still clearly remembers how Venus almost lost her life, if at that time she didn't get a blood donor that matched hers.

The blood used was Frans' own blood. Is it a coincidence or is it God's destiny? It turns out that both of them have the same blood type.

Frans did not hesitate to donate his blood to save Venus, who was in critical condition and had to quickly get additional blood.

"If you really don't have a goal, then stay at my house," offered Frans, who continued their casual conversation.

Venus looked closely at the owner of the calming hazel beads, "Maybe I could stay at your house, sir, but for how long? I don't want to keep bothering Mr. Frans. You have given me too much help. There's no way I can continue staying at Master's house."

Frans nodded, studying Venus' answer, while stroking his chin a little quickly. His eyes rolled up, then he turned them back to the young man who he thought had no fear.

"You can work in my house, at least you won't feel like you're freeloading. How about that?" suggested Frans, patting Venus on the shoulder.

Even so, Venus' body did not move at all, meaning it did not shift when Frans put his hands together.

 "Working at home, sir?"

Frans nodded, "Yes. Be my bodyguard. I'll pay whatever you want."

Venus withdrew her gaze from another angle towards Frans again, "Sir, you're just joking. I don't want a big payment. Just give me food and a place to shelter. If I ask again, it means I'm being rude to you, sir."

Without thinking, Venus accepted the offer. After all, he had to survive. The opportunity that is right in front of your eyes, it is not good to turn it down.

If you think about it again, the offer to become a Bodyguard is not wrong and burdensome for Venus, considering that she is quite skilled in self-defense and defense. So, just as a Bodyguard, Venus doesn't mind.

"Good. This is the answer I wanted to hear from you." Frans looked so happy when he found out that Venus didn't reject his invitation at all.

"Starting today you will officially work at my house," continued Frans, very happy.

"Then what is my job, Boss? Uh, wrong. I mean, sir," replied Venus, a little wrongly. I was so nervous that I ran out of words.

"Just call me, sir. As you usually say."

"Yes sir." Venus nodded, agreeing to the small request. "Because I have officially become a Bodyguard, Sir. So, what duties do I have to carry out? Do I have to take you to the office every day?"

Frans shook his head, he hastily answered, "There's no need to take me to the office. I still have two bodyguards who I think are more than enough to protect me."

Venus knitted one eyebrow, her left eye twitched uncontrollably. "Then you don't need me, does that mean?"

"It's not like that. Of course I really need you to look after my daughter."

"Taking care of the princess, sir?" Venus raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, looking after my daughter who will return tomorrow after completing her education in Germany," replied Frans hastily explaining.

Hearing this confession made Venus doubt. It's not that she's unable to look after Frans Hadiningrat's daughter, if I'm honest, Venus is too lazy to deal with women for now.

Considering the problems he has experienced dealing directly with women.

"What's wrong, Venus? Do you have any objections to the task I gave you?" Frans couldn't stop himself from asking, when he saw the change in Venus' facial expression which really disturbed his vision.

"It's not like that, sir. I just doubt and am not sure I will be able to protect my daughter, sir. What's more, she is such an educated person. Unlike me, who only graduated from a small school."

Frans chuckled when he heard Venus' answer, "You are just the way things are. Education is not a benchmark for judging someone. For me, the most important thing is your honesty and perseverance in working. I see that you are someone who is very hardworking. So I thought, my daughter won't look at you from your educational background."

 Frans said so confidently.

Venus slightly suppressed her smile. Even though it had been explained clearly and openly, he still felt doubtful. If Frans had offered him the task of looking after someone else, apart from women, perhaps he wouldn't have been so hesitant.

"Okay, don't worry. My daughter is not that kind of woman. She won't look at someone based on their family background, education and work. So far I have always taught her to blend in with anyone, without having to look at that person's background," explained Frans further. carry on.

Venus just nodded several times. There were no sentences or words that he could utter in response to Frans' confession. Just a small smile that Venus gave.

His mind was still distracted by the task assigned to him.

What is Frans Hadiningrat's daughter like? Is it true that she is different from the women Venus has always known?
