VENUS (Chapter 5)

Venus has been far from home. Now he walks without any definite destination. Who knows where he should go? If he remembers, there was no one else he trusted besides Mallory.

 If the uncle he trusted so much didn't care or pity him, why would he go to someone else who clearly never thought he existed.

 Venus' steps faltered. Venus couldn't walk properly because her consciousness was starting to disappear completely. However, he tried to keep his mind clear to stay awake.

 Venus would have reached the highway, if she had continued walking a few more meters. There was an intention to stay at a friend's house, but Venus just remembered that she didn't have any friends, let alone best friends.

 "Ah, why is my life always ready? First I was kicked out of work, then the inheritance was taken by the Witch and her gang. Now they must be partying and cheering for joy. Meanwhile I... Here, alone without friends or money. They "It's fun dancing there. I'm sure they must be partying right now."

 Venus was actually born into a fairly well-to-do family. His father was a well-known businessman in the city. Meanwhile, his mother is a doctor at one of the hospitals in Dana.

 Throughout her life Venus never lacked, financially or in friends. However, since his mother died several years ago. Venus' life changed 180 degrees from previously obedient, now very unruly.

 He really likes getting drunk, being reckless on the road and so on. Even her late father was having trouble taking care of Venus's life which had changed drastically. It reached its peak when David decided to marry Eveline to fill the emptiness in his heart and help David take care of Venus.

 Knowing her father's intention to remarry, Venus opposed the marriage and vowed never to accept Eveline as her mother. Even so, David still married Eveline, with Venus' blessing or not.

 The climax was when Venus asked Eveline for money. Still warm in Venus' memory, that night she was drunk and forced Eveline to ask for money.

 Eveline insisted not to give it to him. The reason is because the money will be used for gambling and buying drinks. Obviously, Eveline refused because she didn't want Venus to go deeper into the black world.

 Venus didn't accept it and finally she slapped Eveline on the cheek, just at that time David had just returned from his office.

 An argument occurred that night. Venus couldn't forget how angry her father was at that time, even though he was under the influence of alcohol. However, Venus could see that the anger was rising from the man she had always respected so much.

 The sound of the car horn was so loud. The car sped fast, heading straight for the half-conscious Venus.

 The car was still going fast. Venus tried to pull over, but her stomach hurt so much that she had difficulty moving.

 At its peak, Venus collapsed there. His eyes were closed with his body lying on his back.

 The car also braked at the last second. People who accidentally passed by immediately came to Venus to help the young man.

 There was an argument between residents and the car owner because they thought there had been a collision there. Strengthened by Venus' battered appearance and blood marks on her shoulder, this further strengthens the suspicion of an accident.

 The car owner immediately provided clarification to residents so that there would be no misunderstandings later. After explaining it, they no longer raged.

 "Immediately put the young man in my car. I'll take him to the hospital!" exclaimed the man in the full suit.
