Chapter 5

Felix tried to walk around Sami but Sami still did not allow it.

"Move out of my way Sami," Felix warned as he felt his blood boiling.

Sami scoffed. "Ohh... I see what's happening here. Ana's boy is now growing some self-esteem." Sami said and looked around.

The other guy's gathered around slowly, expecting something to be done to Felix so they could laugh.

Sami then stepped closer but was surprised that Felix's body remained still and did not move back from him.

Sami and Felix had their eyes fixed on each other and while maintaining the gaze, Sami thought he could sneakily attack Felix but little did he know, the Felix he knew was no longer the Felix standing before him.

Sami lifted his left knee to kick Felix but Felix took a step back and hit Sami's foot down with his hand.

Before Sami could understand what was happening, Felix hit Sami in the stomach with his knee as Sami had planned to do to him.

Sami bent down because of the hit and Felix grabbed Sami's right arm, lifted it and bent it towards Sami's back, still maintaining its straightness while keeping Sami bent in a bow with his other arm.

Sami groaned in pain but Felix did not hold back and went on to twist Sami's wrist which he was still holding up.

Everyone around who witnessed it all happens had their jaws dropped. They did not expect this to happen. Felix of all people.

"Let go of me, you bastard!" Sami yelled at Felix.

"Apologies," Felix said to Sami.

"What?! Never! I'd rather..." Sami was unable to complete his sentence.

Felix twisted Sami's arm even more and this time a crack was heard and Sami shouted at the top of his voice.

"I'm sorry! Please stop!" Sami yelled.

Felix released his grip on Sami and Sami instantly distanced himself from Felix. Once Sami lifted his head, everyone saw his tears-covered face and leaking nose. Who knew Sami the strong and mighty could be such a crybaby?

Felix was about to go to Ana but heard slow clapping which caught his attention. Felix turned around and there was Mr Lorenzo himself stepping down the stairs with a smile on his face as he clapped.

Mr Lorenzo walked passed Sami and went ahead to stand in front of Felix. "Now this is the behaviour and stamina a true leader should possess." Mr Lorenzo said, loud enough for all to hear.

"I am glad I made you my first in line to become the next crime lord." Mr Lorenzo said to Felix.

"Now, Sami my boy." Mr Lorenzo said and turned to face Sami.

"Seeing that you are... no longer physically intact, I'll have to pass your job for tonight unto someone else." Mr Lorenzo said.

"What?! But no! I've been working so hard for that job! You can't just..." Sami's words were cut short by a slap from Mr Lorenzo whose eyes had turned blazing red in just a second.

"Do not ever repeat the mistake of raising your voice at me again. Do you understand?!" Mr Lorenzo questioned Sami.

"Yes sir," Sami answered Mr Lorenzo, keeping his head bowed as he gritted his teeth angrily.

"Your job will be passed down to Felix." Me Lorenzo stated.

Sami lifted his head rapidly in disbelief. The thing he feared the most was beginning to happen and that too right before his eyes.

"I trust you can handle the job?" Me Lorenzo asked Felix.

Felix took one look at Sami and knew exactly what his answer to Mr Lorenzo should be.

"Yes sir," Felix responded to Mr Lorenzo and Sami glared at Felix like he was ready to kill Felix with his bare hands.

Sami quickly made his way up the stairs and all heard the door to Sami's room slam shut.

"Don't worry about him. Focus on the mission." Mr Lorenzo assured Felix.

"Sami means nothing to me," Felix replied to Mr Lorenzo.

Mr Lorenzo smirked. "I'm glad you reason that way." Mr Lorenzo told Felix.

Mr Lorenzo stretched an open palm towards one of his bodyguards and a note was placed in his hand.

Mr Lorenzo then showed the note to Felix. "This note contains the address of the place you are to go and the task you are to carry out." Mr Lorenzo told Felix.

Felix brought his hand forward and accepted the note. Before letting go of the note for Felix, Mr Lorenzo looked Felix deep in the eyes. "I expect a lot from you. Do not disappoint me." Mr Lorenzo said and then let Felix have the note.

Mr Lorenzo left and every other person dispersed, leaving just Ana and Felix in the living room.

"You're finally out of your hiding," Ana said to Felix, as she crossed her arms on her stomach.

"Now can you tell me what forced that dark side out?" Ana asked Felix.

Felix signalled Ana to follow him to his room to talk and she did.

*Mr Lorenzo's office*

"Yes. I watched it all unfold. I made sure it all happened at the right time and Felix walked in just in time to hear the truth." one of Mr Lorenzo's minions replied on the phone.

"Very good. His reaction was exactly as I expected it to be. Just make sure that Felix never gets to confront Mrs Richie again. He might find out who his real parents are and end up leaving the Mafia or turning soft." Mr Lorenzo instructed.

"Got it boss." his minion replied.

Mr Lorenzo ended the call and rested his back on his seat as he let out a deep relaxing sigh.

"Now I'm getting the soldier I wanted from the start. Nothing will ever ruin it. I don't mind ending whoever tries." Mr Lorenzo said and relaxed his eyelids.

*Sami's room*

Sami, still fused and ready to blow up, flung his hand over his table and every object on it fell and a very breakable object shattered on the floor.

Sami was still not satisfied and flipped the table so much for e that it flew high and broke the air conditioner on the wall.

Sami didn't notice when he stepped on broken glass and only after seating down did he lift his feet to see after feeling the pain.

"Damn it!" Sami exclaimed and hit his hand on the footboard of his bed.

"That damn good-for-nothing bastard! I will get my revenge! Just wait and watch! This Mafia will be mine!" Sami said with gritted teeth and saliva squirting out a little from the side of his lips.

His hatred for Felix had shot up a thousand times more.
