CHAPTER ONE
"You're fired, Mr. Hutchinson," the middle-aged man with the potbelly yelled as Vince entered into his office. Vince wondered to whom his employer was speaking after looking behind him but failing to see anyone. "Mr. Hutchinson, I'm talking to you. Why are you looking back?” The Boss asked. Vince's unflappable face began to show signs of fear. His visage, which had previously been expressionless, was instantly tainted by one of worry and panic. "What have I done wrong? I don't understand why you're terminating my employment as I've been a devoted employee of this company. "You didn't do anything." As soon as he heard that, he swiftly got to his knees and spoke. "So, kindly don't fire me." “Vince, don't you understand me? The management realised that the company needed to fire some employees in order to avoid bankruptcy because it was experiencing certain difficulties.” "After that, the company is safe. I will give you another call like I promised. Once he had finished, Vince turned to face his boss, his eyes blazing. He had been crying. "You're not telling the truth, Mr. Addams. The company has no plans to declare bankruptcy. " He arched his brows. I ask, "What are you saying?" He queried. "I wanted to make sure I understood: Lady Julie paid you to fire me, right? He said. The look on Mr. Addams' face changed drastically. He was stunned by it. "How do you know?"It is a question coming from the manager."Fine! She hired me to sack you. Nothing I can do will make a difference. He said. "You bastard!" His blood was boiling with rage as he cursed. They nearly penetrated the flesh. "Mr. Hutchinson, you're being incredibly rude. Never forget that I'm still banging your employer. He exclaimed as he grew infuriated. "That's it, Mr. Addams. You nasty soul, I told you that you would regret doing this. He yelled. "Regret, you say?" How can you make me regret it when you are nothing more than a pauper? You are not entitled to a three-square meal. Mr. Addams insulted to the bone, and that made him aggressive. Without giving his boss's advancing age a second thought. He charged at him, wrapped his shirt and tee over his neck, and gave two strikes to his cheek. Mr. Addams screamed in misery as he peered at the departing Vince. "Fuck! What gall?" "Don't let Vince leave the building without being touched," he yelled over the security line. "Beat him mercilessly and throw him out of the company." He then hung up the phone and began to massage his cheek. The guards obey the commands given to them by their superior. They went above and beyond Mr. Addams' request. For them, it was a lucky day. Not recently have they beaten anyone. After being knocked to the ground, Vince winced in pain and shut his eyes; however, when he opened them, a rectangular hologram was in front of them. What is that? He grunted. [Host found, system running] Vince's horror grew as he read what was written. "WTF! What just transpired? He then closed his eyes while rubbing them in an uncharacteristically moderate to firm manner. He claimed that it's possible the fall had hurt his eyes. He opened them and saw that the hologram was still there. "Why the heck am I seeing this, jeez?" Even after he massaged his eyes more vigorously than before, it continued. He looked around to see if he was still alive. He could see the bodyguards looking at him after throwing him to the ground hard. The question was, "Can you guys see this?" He politely inquired while pointing to the hologram in front of him. Before laughing out loud, they both take a moment to glance at each other. "Well, see? Don't claim to have gone crazy merely because you were fired. The bodyguard made fun of him while standing to his left. "Why won't he? That's his only means of survival." The one on the right hand added, as they broke into another round of laughter. They were correct; his source of survival had been taken away from him. That was his sole means of living in this world. He had a dejected appearance. He raised an eyebrow at the hologram and, after repeatedly rubbing his eyes, he was now certain that he was the only one who could see it. It remained there. [Congratulations! Among the billions of people that live on Earth, you are the fortunate to be in charge of this Hologram.] [3…2…1..] [System adjusting to the Host's Level and Wishes. Note: You have a choice of 10 points or 10 billion dollars to fill in the empty slots. A day cannot be skipped without completing a mission. [Finish with notification!] As Vince reads, the message keeps flowing in and going out, which confuses him. He didn't know what to do. "Why am I seeing this?" you may wonder. He moaned as he questioned. "I don't know how he would look after two weeks of being jobless. He will appear malnourished and will be smoking out of desperation.”The guards kept babbling after that. However, Vince didn't seem to be affected by their angry words as he focused on the hologram, which obscured his vision. Not only will the hologram give him a new life, but he will also be showered with money. He thought about using the Hologram and then tossing it away if it turned out to be inaccurate. Fortunately, no one was waiting for the bus when he arrived at the stop. He sat down knowing exactly what he was going to do. "Could you be more specific?" He said. Now that you've decided to serve as the host, here are the next steps: In less than a half-second, the holographic display changed to read;[Easy Mission: Not completed] [Medium Mission: Not completed] [Difficult Mission: Not completed] [Informations: - The amount of money and points awarded to the Host depends on how challenging the operation is. - The Host can check the Non-Host status by using the money and points. - The host is unable to access another task until the first one has been completed.] [Now that you are familiar with and understand the basics, which mission are you going for?] “I will go on a medium mission. I'm curious to see how things pan out.” When Vince concluded, the hologram quickly disappeared, reappearing a half-second later with a different appearance. Medium Mission Unlocked: What you have to do is as follows: You need to travel to Ms. Biggs' Fast Food, which is around 2 kilometres away from here. All you have to do is order $300 worth of food, consume it, and then leave without paying.Prizes:- 5 billion dollars - 4 points]The Hologram vanished after that. "WTF! How will I go about doing this? I'm going to be beaten to death if I'm caught without paying." He expressed dissatisfaction about the mission. He wondered how he might eat without paying and avoid getting caught at the same time. Even if he is discovered, he will only need to use the $300 he has with him to pay the debt. "I'm not able to do this." he mumbled under his breath. After remembering the massive amount of money the Hologram had earlier promised, he changed his mind about what he had said. He wants to be rich. making his family regret what they did to him and freeing his sister from their chains. In addition, the Hologram made it obvious that he couldn't start a new task until the current one was accomplished. If not, he would have gone for the Easy mission. He sighed and lost himself in thought. What assurance is given that the system will grant him the rewards after he completes the assignment? Uncertainties made it difficult for him to decide whether to believe the strange Hologram in his vision. He abruptly rose to his feet and said, "This is an opportunity, and a test shouldn't hurt. At least I'm not the Hologram; I'm the one eating the food. I should only be considering the way of eating for free." To himself, he murmured. "I ought to set out for Ms. Biggs' Fast Food." Since the amount he had with him was the same as his dinner bill total and he would be paying with the money if he happened to get caught, he decided against flagging down a cab. Additionally, he would have time to figure out how he might finish the mission successfully. The perspiration on his head had accumulated into balls and was pouring to the ground after approximately fifteen minutes of walking. He had traveled roughly 1 of the 2KM. He glanced at a nearby corner for a split second, then settled on a face that was familiar His girlfriend, standing beside the other gender, Camilla is that person. As the person's face came into view, he locked his intense gaze. "Oh, her cousin Hudson." He muttered to himselfHe considered how to explain what had happened to her as he dipped his hand inside his pant pocket.Let me surprise her," he remarked, dismissing the notion. This may or may not be true.He turned his attention back to them, although it was quite perplexing that his eyes were fixed on them. He looked shattered and heartbroken as his body violently trembled as he peered at them. They made out."They did, in fact, truly do. However, that was her cousin. In a fit of wrath, his stunning forest green eyes turned red.CHAPTER TWOThere are two people talking in front of a duplex building. They are none other than Camilla and Hudson. "Hudson, you really ought to let me go. I will come back, as I promised." Camilla complained, while Hudson shook his head in denial.Hudson grabbed by the arm and stared keenly into her eyes, "I have no intention to let you go this time." He grunted out, "I'm unclear as to why you regard Vince as more important than I.""Don't say that, Hudson, please. Truth be told, I value you more than Vince. You met all of my needs, restored my health, and gave me money.Vince couldn't accomplish all of that. Therefore, Hudson, why should I esteem him higher than you?" Camilla placed her hands on his shoulder and murmured. "Then, break up with the pauper." He stated."What? The fact that I'm the only one the poor guy loves is going to cause him feel despondent."I have no concern about him. Let's continue our relationship once he leaves.Sigh! "Fine…I'm breaking up with him befor
CHAPTER THREE"She is now mine! I no longer want to see you close to Camilla. You filthbag!" He extended his arm to punch once more, but the person holding him tightly stopped him. It was Camilla."Don't!" She muttered as she scowled at Vince and fixed her gaze on him. "Stop hitting him now. You will be render him dead by any blow given to him!" She spoke. Hudson stared back at him and laughed. Vince was indeed breathing heavily, and he lacked the strength to receive his powerful blow. He may faint at any moment from now. "Such a wuss!" Laughing, Hudson let go of his neck's hold. "I believed he could compete with me and fight me. What insolence?" He smiled while putting his arm around Camilla's waist."Darling, let's get your face treated!" While hissing at Vince, she gave him a warm kiss on the lips. "Sure, baby!" Vince felt hurt and disappointed as he regarded their receding form. Tears struggled to escape his eyes and fell on his cheeks. "You people will unquestionably pay
Vince kept staring at her dwindling form as she walked into the restaurant, then he grinned. [Do you like her?]"Huh?" [You continued to smile at every word she said] Vince grinned. "Is it not worthwhile? She exudes friendliness and charm. The system made no attempt to reply. He sighed as he raised an eyebrow at his clothes."How will these poeple looks at me now.? A beggar?" He pondered. After a while, Vince entered the restaurant and combed every corner and cranny in search of Emma, the Lady he had earlier met. The restaurant wasn't busy, and there weren't more than three waiters on standby. They all stared at him with a pathetic look, even those who are eating stared at his dirty clothesVince felt embarrassed, then Vince noticed Emma sitting in a private space that was enclosed and constructed with glass, since everything there was different from the rest of the room. He reasoned that it was a VIP room. One of the waiters ran over to him and greeted him with "Good day sir
CHAPTER FIVEVince and Emma stood at Emma's car after finishing their meals at the restaurant. She said while grinning. "Why do you act like that?" He exclaimed, "What!" "Are you serious right now?" She laughed. Vince uttered after chuckling. A heartfelt "Thank you!" "I appreciate the lunch. You truly brightened my day! You have no idea how much this means to me. He was grateful.Emma wanted to laugh, but she smiled when she noticed how much the young man appreciated her kind gesture. A smile that can win the hearts of thousands of men. "If I were in your position, wouldn't you do that for me?" It was her.Vince gulped down uncomfortably; he wasn't sure he could have assisted Emma if he had been in her position. Then, while still exhaling, he murmured, "Who knows?" "I don't know if I would have done that, but I won't lie, people have different personalities, and characters," Vince said.He added with a sardonic smirk, "But when I reach to your position or rank then I would kno
CHAPTER SIXThen a call came in, interrupting his joyous and ecstatic mood. After giving the unknown number some thought, he chose to answer the call. "Good day Mr. Vince Hutchinson, Gilbert Olmo, Manager of HSC Bank, is speaking." He said, while Vince rolled his eyes into their sockets and displaying a menacing grin. He was fully aware of their call's purpose. "We are pleased to inform you that $1 billion has been transferred into your account," He said."We appreciate that you chose the HSC Bank as your top option. You are among the extremely essential persons we have here, so we…"Vince became irritated as he realized how monotonous his brief conversations were growing, then he cut him off. "Gilbert, why are you calling me?" His voice was uninterested as he inquired. "I'm sorry, Mr. Hutchinson, but we need you in our office."Curtly, he asked, "For what?" "It's a questioning all about your account, and mostly, the transaction" "Fine…I'll be in your office in a few minutes.
CHAPTER SEVENVince looked up to the lady who had been shouting and wallowing in rage all this time as he instantly knew the voice. "Aubrey!!" He called out her name and the lady was shocked to see the person in front of her. She was Vince's step-sister, Aubrey Hutchinson. "Vince!! You're still alive." Despite the shock on her face, she scowled. God alone knows how unhappy she was to see him again. As Vince rose to his feet, his brow wrinkled. "You want me dead," "Are you seriously blind? Don't you see me coming?" Rolling her eyes, Aubrey Hutchinson yelled at him in a furious manner. Vince became enraged because he was sick of people making fun of him or treating him like trash. "Did you not see me approaching too? Why the uncivil behavior when we are both at fault here?" At her face, he spat back. When it came to the people she had hated, which included him, Vince knew she had always been that fiery. There was no denying that she was gorgeous and beautiful, with her eyes bla
CHAOTER EIGHTThe group of people continued to glare scornfully at Vince and had no intention of ceasing their shady words any time soon. Vince, meantime, was just staring at Camilla and Aubrey while thoughts of heartbreak and hatred, respectively, were racing through his mind. He was eager to degrade them. Only if they had known that things had changed, given the amount of authority and power he currently possesses, would they not have humiliated him in this way. He watched them closely as he crossed one of his legs over the other. He was currently only filled with loathing, hatred, and a desire for retribution. If the timing were right, he would make them regret everything they did to him but not just yet.Aubrey clapped her hands repeatedly in the air as she turned to face the audience. "Breaking news, everyone, this dickhead over here lost his job this morning." She laughed mockingly.Another round of snide remarks and taunting from the people began. "He is nothing but a paup
CHAPTER NINE"And what if I tell you that I'm one of the millionaires?" When he inquired, the bank fell silent and frigid at the same time. Camilla burst out laughing at the end of the sentence. She took a step closer to him. "Please tell me you're joking because I recall you only having $300 in your bank account, which you show me on your phone." She laughed after that. "And so? Change can occur at any moment, second, minute, hour, or day." Camila raised one eyebrow and smiled lopsidedly. "Where would you see Millions of dollars?" she questioned, "or don't tell me you turned into a thief overnight?" "Hey, Vince! If you are into stealing, I won't think twice about putting you behind bars." She added, followed by a loud hiss."Really! I'm sorry, but I'm not like you." He said, causing Camilla to blush in complete indignation and fury. "How dare you, Vince?" With her face twisted with wrath, Camilla spat. "You believe you can accuse me of stealing in front of the public? You'll
