Declan tapped nervously on the desk and glanced at his wristwatch for the umpteenth time. They had set the meeting time for two pm. It was already fifteen minutes past two and she was yet to arrive.

He had left in a hurry and he could not muster the confidence to tell Samantha that it was because of Hannah. He knew she would figure it out eventually.

If he wanted to get into a long-term relationship with her, he would have to tell her what was going on at some point.
