Chapter 28

Ivan went to the bar again, and stormed across it to the back, sliding in through the wall and slipping into the corridor that led to the sect arena.

He was pissed as to why the sect brothers did not trust his judgment or his word, he was a leader, and it was his place to make decisions.

He saw Artemis just outside the door pacing as she dialed on her phone, she had a worried expression on her face.

Furthermore, he saw the look of relief on her face as She saw him and walked faster towards her.

“What’s the problem?” He questioned.

“I don't understand why, but these sect brothers are making a fuss out of it” she whispered

“Out of, why Artemis?”

“The fact that you made the decisions so quickly and sent out orders without consulting them.” She replied.

“You need to go talk to them,” she said just as the sound of loud voices arguing came from the room.

“I’ll go see what this is all about.”

He said opening the door and stepping in.

The noise immediately died down when he walked in.
