Fabby clapped her hands together. “Rock Burial!”
Two hill-sized structures covered with spikes rose from either side of Feliz and squashed him in between as they fused into a single, bigger hill.
Like a fish swimming through the water, Feliz waved his spear with his hands holding the spear at different places. The spear slithered through the rocks like a snake through a swamp, and Feliz made it out of the hill before it solidified any further.
Fabby frowned. If only she was faster at merging, he wouldn’t have escaped. But there was no time to worry about her mistakes. Even though her breathing was disorderly, she did it again.
“Rock Burial!”
This time, the two hills were smaller than before, but
Reud swung the ax. It was more of a quick swing than a fully-charged one.Tenzai was already in motion, so he could only turn his head to the right, and the ax went right into his mouth, or so it seemed. To Reud’s surprise and annoyance, Tenzai stopped the ax with his teeth. When Reud pulled the ax, it didn’t come. He grabbed the ax with both hands and pulled once again, but in that time, Tenzai’s hand moved and gorged out one of Reud’s eyes, the left one.It all happened so quickly, and it left Reud in shock. He stumbled backward, covering his bloody eye socket with his hand and grunting in pain.Tenzai approached again, but Reud swung his ax randomly and put Tenzai away; however, Tenzai still had a faint smile on his face, even though the corner
After dealing with Reud—Fabby, Gossini, and Tenzai hastened their way to where the most destruction in the woods was happening at, a place not even the redback squirrels dared to approach. The big trees and their branches were either sliced up like fruits or burnt to crisp from their sharp and brutal attacks that were devoid of any mercy.Travino was blocking Edgar’s blades with bare hands. He made chopping movements that generated wind slashes powerful enough to slice through tough trees.Edgar’s electric slices weren’t half-bad, either. Every swing of his blade hissed through the wind and threatened almost anything it touched. Still, he couldn’t get the better of his opponent. Though there were moments when he shined, his attacks, overall, didn’t land enough to bring him the vic
Edgar threw both of his fists at a time. “Double Cannon Bolt!”“Parallel Shatter!” Travino unleashed his fists as well.KA BOOM~~!!The impact of their mighty fists created a shockwave that blew away all the nearby rubble as it echoed throughout the neighborhood. Even the ground moved up and in ripples and leveled all the trees around. Both of them pushed each other with all their strength. In the end, Travino’s fists triumphed. Edgar got blown away. Travino used the opportunity and circularly twisted his ankle as he gyrated on one foot, and then he diagonally swung his leg upward at Edgar. “Boot Wheel!”A multi-layered red energy wheel flew toward Edgar and struck him hard in the che
“Oh, so one of you knows about me.” Dina faintly smiled, almost amusedly. “This makes things easy.”Tenzai frowned as deep as his brows allowed. He only saw her once before when she was passing by his tree-house. Other foot disciples began to talk about her, and so he got to know a few things about her. Dina Spoon was a core disciple, probably the most infamous one, as she got known for her notoriety. She did a lot of cruel things, but to put it simple, her history was a mess. While panting, Edgar looked up at Dina. His sight was now mostly clear.Dina flickered something, and the item fell in the midst of the four. “Whoever eats that pill gets to leave.”They looked at the blood-red pill, and Tenzai signaled the others by subtly shaki
“Thunder Coil.” Edgar sent the electricity to his feet like a coil and blasted the air behind him, which in turn propelled him toward her with extreme speed and force, enough to put him at great discomfort. “Nggh!” He raised the spear and stabbed from top-right, aiming at her nape. “Die!”Dina was in the middle of turning. The spear went straight to her forearm and shoulder of her left arm and tore it apart from the rest of her body.“Krrgh!” Dina’s right fist was covered with spherical yellow energy, and she smashed his face. Edgar was blown back, but he immediately used the Thunder Coil and propelled himself back toward her. He shot the spear at her, but she spat the spoon and deflected the spear with it; however, Edgar closed the distance in time, and the lightning covering his hand now looked like a bird limb. “Thunder Claw!”The thunder-reinforced fingers slashed through the drive covering her body and cut up her face, but she somersaulted back and booted him in the chin, sending
Dina was looking at her severed arm, which wasn’t cut in a clean fashion, “If I go to that place fast, I may be able to get it attached.”In the background, a couple hundred meters away, the beetle flew into the pit.BAM~~!!A second later, four big chunks of meat was sent flying out of the pit. It was the beetle itself, which was killed thanks to all three of the people in the pit attacking it together.Dina turned around in startlement. Seeing her pet getting slashed into bits made even her frown a bit, but that frown soon turned into anger, and she dashed toward the pit. When she reached there, however, nobody was inside. And what’s more, five tunnels were opened inside. So she didn’t know in which direction they went. “I’m not good with sensing things.”Still, she knew where Edgar was. So she immediately jumped in his direction.A swan came flying out of nowhere and attacked her, crashing her down to the ground.“What the heck?” Dina landed on her feet and briefly chased the swan.
On the evening of the same day.Fabby and others were riding a large gray frog they had recently defeated. Out of the four, only Edgar was sleeping, even though the frog had been jumping on top of the canopy. All four of them were almost healed, at least for outer appearances.“It’s traveling so messily,” Gossini complained. “We should’ve caught a flying beast.”“Flying beasts are harder to control, let alone tame,” said Tenzai. He was the one who dealt the last blow and brought the frog into submission.“But still..” Gossini felt like she was about to vomit.“Haha,” Fabby made the frog stop by scratching on its head. Every time Fabby did that, the frog f
At around ten in the night. On top of a giant boulder the size of a small hill, Fabby and others were present.Tenzai was on the lookout. Everyone else was sleeping, including the frog. He, too, was yawning.“You’ve been fighting every beast that came our way,” Gossini said. “Get some rest. I’ll take the shift.”“I thought you were sleeping,” Tenzai was a little surprised.“I tried,” replied Gossini. “But… this rock is still hot.” She glanced at Fabby and Edgar. “It’s surprising how they can sleep on this surface.” Even though she had laid a cushioning carpet on the rock, she could still feel the heat.Latest Chapter
