Chapter 119.

Room 502, 8th floor, Grand Riverside hotel.

The quiet atmosphere in the dimly lit room from the bed lamp on the nightstand was suddenly disturbed by the soft creak of the door opening.

Slowly the lights came on brightly. Alana, nervously, stepped inside, followed by Roselyn whose face was pale but whose eyes were full of anger waiting to explode.

Behind them, a security guard walked slowly, ready for any eventuality.

“No!” Roselyn screeched at the sight of a man's shirt that had been scattered since the entrance to the room. She recognized the shirt, the one her husband had been wearing.

“Roselyn calm down. If you can't bear to go into that room, you shouldn't,” Alana said.

Roselyn shook her head. “No, Alana. I have to make sure of myself even though I know I'll get hurt,” Roselyn said as she squeezed her shirt at the chest.

Meanwhile on the bed, Edward and Natalia were still asleep, their bodies bound together in an embrace that only a night of passion could produce.
