Oliver exhaled as he leaned against the window, watching the zombies wreak havoc outside the building.
“I heard that you said the same thing as me.” Oliver's black hair moved in the wind, the third-floor school building window was open. He crossed his arms and did not look at the person who had just been beside him.
The blonde hair that floated in the wind had given the explanation that she was Leah.
Leah looked at Oliver, she tilted her head slightly. She is 172 cm tall with a slender body built with a strict diet and exercise. She should laugh because in the past, she often endured her hunger so she wouldn't gain weight, and now she has to endure hunger to survive.
“You said that this zombie has low intelligence.” Oliver turned around, he looked at Leah, who was staring back at him. Beautiful green eyes, like delicate leaves being blown amidst the commotion of zombies.
"Yeah, they think that what I said was a lie."
Leah chuckled a little, every time she said it, there would be eyes of disapproval for it.
“You have a very great observation.”
"I think they should also understand that. Observing them will provide all the explanations, right?”
Oliver liked how Leah thought, she was a real schoolgirl who used her brain to think.
“I almost died a few days ago, the classroom door was unlocked. I thought, yes, this is the end, but those zombies can't open the door, that's when I knew they were stupid."
Leah smiled with her right shoulder raised, she looked proud of what she said.
"We should be grateful for that. Stupid zombies, we can fight more easily than if the zombies are smart and still they are strong.”
Leah moved her eyes, she looked at the zombies that were dragging their feet. They stroll, but when they see prey, they run very convulsively. Whereas scared humans will make a mistake, fall, then get bitten and they will transform or in other cases, they die as zombie food.
"I know how and I think you'll be pleased to hear that."
Leah nodded her head, she was looking forward to this. She is a spoiled child but mentally strong. When she doesn't get what she wants, Leah is used to arguing and being indifferent to her parents. Her expression looks a little sad.

One day earlier, after Oliver and Dereck managed to get into the school building.
“You are 32 in number?” Oliver looked at them, the paper in his hands moved because the wind blew so slowly.
Oliver looked down at the paper he was holding.
“Twenty men and twelve women. You guys look like you're camping.” Oliver looked back at him. "How did you guys come to school? I didn't see many bodies in this building, did you guys burn it?" asked Oliver, scratching his head.
"We dropped him on the back," Nolan explained briefly, his expression casual. He showed no sadness, a person who acted logically and cared about life.
"Ow, alright." Oliver took it casually. Nolan opened his mouth again, explaining more than Oliver wanted.
“There are 74 people here, including teachers. We have activities at school, next Sunday should be the day of welcoming new students and that's why the people are important here."
Nolan glanced at Axel. Only the delinquent wasn't part of the team. He survived and was recognized by Nolan could be helpful.
Seeing death in front of him and being able to survive this long, Nolan forced himself to endure.
"We'll just leave the seven men here," Oliver said again, the others had an expression of disapproval.
“You're going to leave seven men here? Then who will go and stay?” the men start to fuss, they want to be in this place because they can be safe. Coming out would make themselves prey.
Oliver exhaled and put the paper he was holding onto the table.
"I made a mistake, huh?" asked Oliver with a smile. The school children who wore sad faces nodded their heads.
“Both men and women, you will probably be forced to go out. Safe."
Their mouths are open, this is increasingly budgeting them, their bodies are stiff, eyes glaze over because this pressure can drive them crazy.
Leah raised her hand. Draw attention towards him.
"I'm going out."
"Good, we have brave volunteers." Oliver pointed at Leah.
"Me too." Nolan raised his hand. The man seemed to have a leadership spirit.
Few people volunteered themselves. Oliver chose them, he chose the ones that looked brave and strong.
He had to save these children, so he had to keep a few of them at least alive. Don't let more people die than life.
His memory swirled at that moment. His question to Dae was a form of anticipation that he would not be in danger.
"Did none of them die?" he asked.
"Says who?" Dae narrowed his eyes. This time he showed up with no piece of meat and no food for Dae to snatch from Oliver.
"Just my guess."
"That's okay. If they die, but you can still save the others, your quest is over.”
Oliver took a deep breath. He gulped his spit and still stared at Dae.
"I'm glad to hear that because otherwise, it would have been a more difficult mission."
"Difficult?"
"I'm playing a hero for someone I don't know."
Dae laughed so blandly at Oliver's words.
“You are playing pawn. Don't overestimate." Dae grinned, and he disappeared from Oliver's presence.
Oliver's face looked very irritated at the ugly, stupid words in front of him earlier. Someday, if he can find out that hitting guides is allowed, he will do it.
The sound of a chair being dragged brought her thoughts back.
“Ten people, including my friend and me.”
Oliver decided like that, Dereck approached him, and he whispered next to Oliver.
"Isn't that too little?"
"You can protect them all, Dereck?" asked Oliver making Dereck silent.
Protecting others, he's often scared and feels like running away from here.
Everyone in the room was silent, they couldn't argue with Oliver's words and those who didn't get out of this building felt very grateful even though they kept it from being seen.
Axel looked at Leah, his eyes sharp. The piercing on his lips moved as he smirked for a second nonchalantly.
"Just watch that road."
He walked out of the room, ignoring the adults he didn't know.
Oliver noticed that the brat named Axel was at least not just any brat because he had courage.
Oliver used his bag, he had a zombie-slaying sword in his hand and they decided to head out the front door. The people following him were frightened, afraid that they would be directly attacked because of this. The zombies will know when they come out.Because of that, Oliver asked the people in the building to make noise at the back of the building. They prepared to provide the code so that they could start the diversion immediately."They have already started."Oliver kept watching. In front of him, the zombies that surrounded the van immediately ran towards the noise very fast, Oliver raised his hand, clasped so that the people standing on the stairs could tell if they could stop the noise. If they continued, they would attract zombies' attention from far away."Good, they understand it well."Oliver immediately opened the door. He ran, followed by the people who had prepared to leave with him. They quickly got into the back of the van while Oliver was in the front. The people insi
Cole stared at Frans' dripping bloody finger, his eyes shaking. He knew now that the two people approaching him were afraid of what would happen next.“This is not a...”"Unlucky! We have a friend who a zombie bit. Shouldn't we kill you now?” Axel appeared suddenly between them. His big voice had scared the others. They looked where Frans was."You better stop talking!"Cole fixed his eyes on Axel, who raised his hands lazily. He kept his eyes on Frans, mocking him with an expression on his face."He is fine. I'm pretty sure he'll be fine soon."Cole came closer, he tried to hold Frans' hand, and Oliver brushed his hand away faster."Do not do it. I warned you not to get bitten.”“He didn't get bitten! I'm pretty sure of that!”Cole raised his voice, he wanted to protect this weak man in front of him. He was looking down and trembling. As a friend, he felt that people shouldn't be mean like this to Frans."Even so, he was injured. Taking him in now would get the others into trouble. Y
Brak! The zombie in front of Van was hit, and its body was run over by Van, who was now stopping very quickly at the gas station. Everyone on the bus was shocked by that, they wouldn't have expected to stop there.Chris looked at the full meter to see if the gas on this bus was also dying.“Dereck, you filled the car and conductor with gas earlier. I will block them!”Oliver gave the order. Luckily, when they were at the supermarket, they weren't attacked by many zombies. Now he is still powerful because of it.Dereck complied with Oliver's wishes, he filled up with gas immediately while continuing to pay attention to his surroundings. The bus also stopped near the van, and Nolan and a few other students got off the bus, preparing to block the zombies from getting their next groceries.“Don't get bitten! While effectively!” Nolan warned them. He also saw Cole getting off the bus, he was nervous about it but seeing Cole swinging his arms so steadily, Nolan became more relieved. He imme
Everyone in the room fell silent. They couldn't believe what they had just heard, even though they had just started to believe this black-haired man in front of them."How could you leave us alone?" A short-haired woman spoke loudly, she held her hand tightly, refusing to be abandoned by a person who has a great ability to survive.Alice, that woman's name, was similar to a figure that Oliver had seen in a game she played a few years ago."I have explained to you to survive against zombies. I have other business and you should be grateful because I have bothered to come here to help those of you who have no hope of living."Oliver stood straight, his position noticeably larger than theirs. Oliver, who has courage, is more dominant. Compared them."But, we can come with you."Oliver raised his hand. It was a pain, that's why he didn't want to be a hero like this, a system gave him a very tiring hassle.Dereck approached Oliver. He immediately whispered to Oliver.“Oliver, invite them t
The van moved quietly, they turned wider than they should. Trying to go through a quieter suburban street. The three people in the van had been quiet since earlier. Dereck had been giving Oliver an extraordinary eye. While Leah was behind with a worried expression, she wanted to meet her family soon. But now, she had to be patient."Oliver, you're hooked because of her beauty, huh?"Dereck leaned closer to Oliver so Leah wouldn't hear his shot. Even though Oliver had refused anyone to depend on him, after Leah pitied him, Oliver changed his mind and now wants to do what Leah wants.“Dereck, this time, I can confirm your broken ribs.”Dereck immediately sat in his chair. He held his stomach as if he could still feel the pain from being elbowed by Oliver earlier. He was unexpected, but what Oliver did must have a reason. Her eyes were so thin in the school building because a blue notification screen appeared in front of her.[New quests][Take Leah to her house][Reward: Medicine]Even
Oliver kept watching the situation inside the place, looking so calm that they hesitated to enter. “Maybe they're the same as the zombies we've been fighting, Oliver. They are just in a lower position.” Oliver listened to Dereck's words, but he disagreed with what Dereck said. He was still watching from a distance. “This is strange, even if they have low intelligence, I think they will move intuitively. Like starving animals, they will surely seek their food.” Leah said something more reasonable, the two looked at each other and expressed their thoughts. "Your house is pretty deep inside, and what do you think happened there, Leah?" Oliver didn't soften the look in his eyes, the rough and devoid feeling he gave Leah. His eyes moving, he glanced at Leah's hand. The fingernails that Oliver was sure had always been beautifully polished were now covered in sores. There were a few little bits of flesh on the sides of the nails, Oliver knew Leah always tugged at them when she was as a
The zombies move in a circle to form a defense. The massive zombie in front of them was called a zombie knight. Its large body with a head that splits slightly to move it gives orders. His long arms also make it easier for him to do that.He has the demeanor a knight is known for, trying to protect the zombies in his way. He can't talk but can send signals to zombies around him covering a 1 km radius. His sensitivity level is above the average of other zombies, and he also has a higher intelligence."I didn't expect to do this. I beg you, please protect me, God."Dereck prayed with a loud voice, he was the first bait in this battle. By driving the Van, which was done very quickly, Dereck entered Leah's yard, he hit the zombie who was their leader.BAM!A giant collision occurred, and Dereck still stepped on the gas even though the zombie he hit earlier was thrown to the other side. Until the van stopped because it almost hit the wall of the house, his eyes widened and his heart was be
At that place, she fell silent with her mouth open. The horrific sight drained all of her strength. She held her weapon so weakly—the bodies of people and zombies splattered in front of her.Her tears flowed because she remembered very well the red dress worn by her mother. Her body had been cut in half, along with her father, who wasn't far from her mother's.“M..Mom….Dad...” She walked shakily, her left hand reaching out to reach the two people she loved so much. The zombie knight was still standing in the middle of the field, blood and scattered body parts seemed to be a sacrifice for her.Leah's tears grew heavier. The zombie knight stared at Leah, those imperfect eyes that wouldn't let go of Leah. He moved his hand slowly, and Oliver realized that. He jumped quickly from the back of the zombie knight, and he swung his sword horizontally. The zombie knight used his hand to counterattack and was cut. His hand fell to the ground with a few thrashing.“Aaaaaghhh!”His scream was so s
