Chapter 5 : Don't You Dare to Come Closer!

“S-simon! I-I didn't mean to…” Raphael tried to explain himself to Simon who was walking closer to him.

To be honest Raphael felt very scared now, he could even feel that his pupils were trembling because he felt that his life was on the verge like this. Raphael's fragile body also shook when he saw how cold Simon's gaze was at him, he felt that this time Simon could really kill him.

“P-please d-don't kill me, Simon!” Raphael could only sit silently with his body trembling under Simon's feet, begging the young man not to kill him.

There is still much that Raphael wants to do in this world, he also actually intends to find the whereabouts of his parents, even though he can't rely on that because from the start he was already in the orphanage where he lives now.

However, Raphael didn't want to just give up his life like this, he still had many dreams he wanted to fulfill. His life will only begin when Raphael can get out of the orphanage and he doesn't want to miss it, one thing is certain, he still wants to live in this world.

It seemed that Simon didn't think the same as Raphael, you could see the young man raised his hand signaling his friends behind him to get the weapon he had left earlier. After his weapon returned to his grip, Simon turned to Raphael who was under his feet.

Simon started his action to teach Raphael a lesson for daring to take advantage of their difficult situation to attack him. Simon started his action by kicking Raphael's body with his feet, Simon did this many times, causing Raphael to curl up on the ground to protect himself.

"You guys come here, we have to teach this kid a lesson so he knows what risks he will get if he does something sneaky!" shouted Simon calling his two friends who were only watching the action from behind.

Simon's two friends were happy to help Simon beat up Raphael who was helpless on the ground. The two of them rolled up their sleeves and quickly came forward to join Simon.

With three people beating him up, Raphael quickly felt like his body was breaking apart in the siege of Simon and his two friends. Slowly Raphael's consciousness was on the edge, his eyes were starting to blur, and he began to feel that his world was spinning without being able to control it, even his body had become numb with all the pain he was feeling.

Raphael's glazed eyes stared blankly in front of him, he felt his head starting to play all his memories for the seventeen years he had lived in this world like a broken record. Raphael started to think about whether he would die soon, "Is this how they feel when someone is about to leave this world?" Raphael asked in his mind.

Raphael's body jolted as he felt that Simon was pulling his hair tightly, he could feel that the man was starting to drag him somewhere, which Raphael himself didn't know. Raphael could only groan while holding his already long hair, trying to reduce the pain Simon caused to his head.

Not long after, Raphael again felt that his body was being thrown into a muddy pool of water in the cave they previously occupied. When Raphael felt his face being splashed by the murky water with his body lying helplessly in there, he regained consciousness and found that Simon and his two friends were looking at him with an evil smile that made the atmosphere there even more frightening for Raphael.

“Wh-what else do you want from..me…” With a low voice, Raphael tried to get up from his position, but was kicked again by Simon, who again made him fall into the pool of dirty water.

"You still ask? Of course I want you to feel hopeless, so that it makes you no longer want to live in this world,” Simon answered, laughing out loud with his two friends.

Raphael froze in place when he heard what Simon said to him, making him wonder, “Don't I deserve to live in this world? Why did they do this terrible thing to me!” Raphael roared inside his mind.

You can see Raphael clenching his fists tightly at that time, feeling very angry with what Simon had said, let alone hearing the reproachful laughter from the three of them. Raphael also tried to get back up to face Simon and his two friends, he couldn't just give up, he had to fight for his life, he didn't accept the reproaches that Simon gave him.

"You have no right to do this to me!" said Raphael angrily, with both feet stepping unsteadily, Raphael moved quickly towards Simon with his fist ready to punch the young man.

Simon, who looked unprepared because he didn't expect that Raphael would rise, was finally hit by a punch from Raphael. At that time Simon was silent, quickly pain spread across Simon's right cheek. Finally, Simon realized what Raphael had done to him, he grinned widely secretly, becoming more and more eager to destroy Raphael.

As for Raphael, it can be seen that the young man was breathing heavily after launching his attack on Simon. To be honest, Raphael didn't expect that he could hit Simon and make the young man's cheeks turn red, he was sure that his punch hurt a lot.

The atmosphere there was suddenly silent at that time, moreover, Simon's two friends had shocked looks at Raphael who actually dared to counterattack Simon, the two of them immediately stepped back, knowing that after this Simon would definitely be angry.

Hearing Simon's sharp whisper made Raphael's eyes widen, especially when he felt a sharp object stab his stomach, he slowly lowered his head and found Simon's sword had pierced his stomach, he could see fresh blood starting to flow from the wound.
