Chapter 18 : A Gift From Mom

Yupo wasn't in the cage, the big cat had disappeared somewhere. It would be a lie if Darren didn't panic. In fact, this time Darren's chest was already rumbling, his breathing up and down, intermittent.

Darren closed the door to Yupo's cage in one slam. "Yupo, where?" he said frantically, the voice that came out of his lips sounded shaky, Darren looked around, looking for maybe Yupo was around.

But alas, as far as the eye could see, Darren did not see Yupo. Yupo's not here, Darren was confused. Where did Yupo go?

"Yupo, where are you?" Darren shouted loudly. He checked the back of the cage, but his favorite cat was not there.

As the worry rose to his throat, Darren ran hard and fast towards the house. "Mom!" he called.

"Mom!" Darren didn't find his mother in the kitchen, so he looked elsewhere. This time, the room was Darren's seventh.

"Mom!" Darren opened Helena's unlocked room. Darren's breathing was already ragged, not to mention that sweat the size of corn kernels had just dropped
