Chapter 7 High rank demon

Days passed since the last demon attack almost a week, things progressed fast as Damien came up with a new magical orb for Anthony students, they too can also summon sword and use for fighting.

It has been over a week since Anthony started training the three students, significant changes could be see because they also train their speed and strength.

In the academy, Gary and Nathan were breathing heavily as they were sparing against each other, maria was sitting with Anthony and talking, the four of them were now very close after the few weeks they spent together.

Sound of sword clashed against each other as they were giving it their all, Gary was more faster than Nathan, but Nathan was stronger than him.

"Stop" Anthony said as both of them paused and looked at their teacher, "you guys are not correcting your mistake that is why you find it hard to find a winner" Anthony told them.

"You need to...." the door leading to their training ground was slammed opened and a mage ran in and told them that demons were spotted at the gate of the city, "how many in total?" Anthony asked, that is the problem they keep increasing every minute.

Anthony rushed to the gate where the other dukes were, the demons were now 23 in total, "we should attack them now that they are not much" Anthony said, "demon doesn't just come out of the air" one of the dukes said, that means only one thing, the fifth all the dukes said at once.

Anthony looked at them surprised "who is the fifth", "one of the five high rank demon,she has the ability to teleport demon from any where to fight for her and she can also teleport herself and she works directly under the demon king" Randle told Anthony.

The gates were opened and Anthony followed by the ten dukes came outside to battle with them.

A portal opened and a girl walked through,she looked like a goddess with her white hair that ran all the way to her waist, she wore white clothes barely covering her body, the tight material pressed against her body showing all her curve.

Anthony stood like he was possessed just by looking at her, "so the rumors are true" she said as she looked at Anthony, "why are you here and what do you want?" Anthony asked her

"Just you....."

"Me" Anthony was surprised, "yes you caught the demon king fancy so he told me to bring you", "and why will I follow you", "if you don't all this people are going to die" she said as she smiled.

"When am here you can't kill anyone" Anthony said clenching his fist, "we'll see about that kill them" she said as she teleported away from there.

The demons rushed toward Anthony as the battle started, all the demons has been killed either burnt by the dukes or killed by Anthony.

All of them were exhausted as they waited for the high rank demon to arrived but she didn't show up, "as I thought she was a coward" Anthony muttered to himself.

*SWOOSH*

The demon teleported and cut the neck of one of the mages, she jumped back as all the dukes attacked her at once, the mage that was cut gaps for air as one of the dukes specialized in healing rushed toward the mage.

Anthony attacked her but she was so fast that he couldn't even land a hit on her she was getting on his nerve.

Her nail elongated as she started attacking Anthony as he also dodge or block all her hits,the other dukes didn't know what to do as they could only watch because their speed level was off the chart.

The battle between them was fierce as neither side backed down.

Shit Anthony had to do something about this or else his system will automatically shut down so as to recharge, "you fight well", the demon girl said are you even a mage she asked him as she leaped backward, "you are also a formidable opponent" he said as he stretch his neck, "i haven't even used my full power" she said as she smiled.

"Damien I need a magical orb now" Anthony said as he will be shutting down soon,Damien quickly threw three magical orb to Anthony,before it could reach him a portal opened in front of it and the demon girl came out of the portal and snatched the stone as she went back into the same portal, it happened very quickly none of their eyes could follow.

"So this is your source of power weak human, so you really are a mage" she said to Anthony, Damien do you have more Anthony asked? that was the last ones I brought he said.

Blue smoke came out of his body just like last time and the colour of his sword changed and became more brighter,what is he doing the demon girl said to her self.

With his rapid burst activated Anthony burst forward towards the demon girl and attempted to cut her head but she was also fast and she dodge and he cut off her hands.

"What speed" the demon girl said as she was shocked, but I am also fast she said as both her hands grew back,Anthony removed the magical orbs from her hands as he threw her hands away.

He quickly swallowed one of the magical orb as he threw her hands off.

The demon girl looked at him,so that was what he was going for the magical orb and why did he swallow it maybe he needs it to survive.

"Now the real battle starts" Anthony said, "sorry love I obtained what I came for so bye" she said as she opened another portal and left them.
