“Keep your filthy hands to yourself!” Daxon’s voice is like a thunderous strike. Shocked by the audacity in his voice, Veronica gazes at him in complete awe. Due to his busy schedule, Daxon does not have time to converse with Azura about what Veronica just pulled in front of them. A VIP room is prepared for Daxon to focus on his virtual meeting. He sets up his advanced technological gadgets where he begins to speak with investors who are interested in Bright group shares. Due to his messed up schedule, it’s only convenient to carry on the meeting through a zoom call.The VIP suite has a private balcony which offers a breathtaking view of the architectural surroundings of the hotel. The terrace is open and it allows a gentle, refreshing breeze to sweep into the room. As Daxon wraps up the meeting with their new investors, his phone beeps and he picks it up. At the sound of the door, Veronica is confused on what to do. Daxon is still passed out, it could be anyone at the door and the longer she stays on the bed, the worse it gets. So, an idea immediately comes up in her mind and with that, she gets up from the bed, heading into the mini bar section in the VIP hotel room.She takes out a bottle of whisky, pops it open and fills it into two glasses. Veronica pours the rest of it into the sink and places the empty bottle on the floor. Again, she takes out a bottle of Rye whiskey and gulps from it to give the illusion that she drank.
