“So how did you get here, Miss Amaris?”

“I’m better off like this, than having to marry one of the men in your house.”

 William fell silent. Isabella and him were outside the Wiltson residence. The heated argument just now happened for real, and Isabella was here now. She was left behind with William, even the Amaris family was reluctant to accept Isabella because they felt so ashamed.

“This was an act of insulting the Wiltson family and you chose to stay instead. Aren’t you going to be my burden now? We’re both trapped in the Wiltson residence.”

“William, come here!”

Bobby and Mike, who couldn’t accept Isabella’s humiliation, was looking for William’s whereabouts. Now William looked at both of them in a confused look.

“What’s the matter? Did Mom and Dad call me?”

“Can you still say something like that to our parents, after what you’ve done to our family? You are committing treason, William!” Bobby snapped at him.

William was still trying to calm down, while Isabella stood proud beside William.

“Hey, Miss Amaris. Aren’t you afraid that your rich inheritance will be lost just because of a trash man like William?”

“I’m sure and determined. Instead of spending the rest of my life marrying one of you, I would rather lose all my possessions.”

“You crazy woman!” Mike said.

William was still silent, then his adoptive parents came, along with his adopted sisters.

“William Robert and whatever your last name is.” Mrs. Wiltson finally spoke. “Actually, I wanted to kick you out of the house since a long time ago, erase you from the family tree list. It’s just that, the cost I spent to raise you and accommodate you all this time is really big. If I throw you out now, it will be my loss. I want to make sure you’ll pay for all the money I’ve spent, William!”

“How much do I have to compensate for the services you have rendered me over the years, Mrs. Wiltson?” William finally spoke up.

“What are you asking for?  Is a beggar like you who is an orphan can afford it?” sneered Mrs. Wiltson.

William was silent again, he really wanted to shut the Wiltson family’s mouth because their words were so evil. But that the problem was ... he still had the conscience to still have a little pity for them.

“Just say how many hundreds of millions of dollars or how many tens of billions of dollars that I should pay for all your services!”

“Tch! How arrogant of you, William. All right, give me a billion dollars for all the things our family has done for you. Even though it would be very impossible to you. Even until the end of the world came ... All of that would be very impossible.”

“If in reality I can do it, then what are you guys going to do? Would you dare to bet on me on behalf of Mrs and Mr Wiltson?”

Bobby and Mike immediately fell silent, both of them were looking at each other in turn.

They wanted to easily say that they will accept the challenge from William, because they believed that a poor man like William who had nothing will be very impossible to get what his family wanted. However, it concerned the good name of their parents.

“Bet? You’re so confident, William. As if you are going to win this bet. Do you think a billion dollars is a very … small amount of money?”

“So be it, Bob. What could that shrimp brain think? Let him fantasize about getting one billion dollars. Though even if he dies, he will never get it.”

“Come on, let’s just have a bet. There’s no need to say much.”

“Okay, if you manage to get a billion dollars in two weeks, I’ll admit you’re great.”

“Kneel at my feet, kiss my feet, and swear to stop saying bad things to me like I am an orphan, I am a beggar and so on, and not only you. But all your family members. Also stop bothering Miss Amiris because she will be my future wife.”

“Fine, who’s afraid of your stupid bet, William. Hurry up to find one billion dollars, oh and ... don’t forget, if you lose this bet, then you and Miss Amaris will also be servants at the Wiltson residence until you are old. How about it?”

William grinned, he nodded his head confidently.

“Alright.”

“Are you really out of your mind, Will? Where are you going to get that kind of money from? If only I was still considered part of the Amaris family, I would definitely help you. But now?”

William smiled, he actually wanted to tell Isabella that there was no need to worry about this matter. And William also wanted to say that he was actually the sole heir of the Bronson family, which was famous for being the richest family in the world. It was just that William was sure that Isabella would not believe it, moreover he felt that this was not the right time. He had to take revenge on all of them one by one until William was satisfied.

“The thing is you don’t have to think about anything, Isabel. I already have my own way to take care of it, now the question is you. Haven’t you been taking care of your family business all along?”

“Yes, you’re right. I have.”

Isabella and William still lived in the Wiltson family’s residence, it was just that the two of them were exiled and placed in the back pavilion, to be precise, near the warehouse. Because they were no longer considered important, and became a burden and trash for the Wiltson family.

“I saw in the news that the Bronson Group has lost its CEO for too long, and now they are looking for a CEO to run their business empire. Seeing that you are qualified, why don’t you try applying for the position?”

“Are you sure?” Isabella asked. “Doesn’t the Bronson family still have a grandson as the heir to the royal throne? Why can’t he just lead his family’s business empire? “Come on, what’s wrong with trying. I know how capable you are, and this is a golden opportunity for you to show your family after you left the Amaris family that you can and are able to stand even higher than them.”

Isabella began to waver and believed in William. William’s words really made sense. This was an opportunity for her, because if she relied on William, of course it wouldn’t work. William had an unclear educational background, and had no experience in running a business. He had only been made a servant in the Wiltson family all this time.

“Okay, tomorrow I will try it. Wish me luck, Will. If I succeed in getting the position of director of the Bronson Group company, I guarantee we will live well and we can get out of this house and bring shame to both of our families.”

“I like your spirit, Isabel.”

William smiled again, then he walked away from Isabella. He called Jackob for some other assignments.

“Yeah, what’s the matter, Young Master Bronson?”

“There are a few things I’d like you to do, Mr Hobat.”

“Go ahead and say it, Young Master Bronson.”

“I want you to open vacancies for the position of director of our company, but don’t let anyone pass the interview session. Make sure that the only daughter of the Amaris family named Isabella Amaris will be the  director of our company.”

“However, that position was vacant for a long time and was waiting for you to occupy it, Sir. How could another family that is nobody to the Bronson family get to that position, Young Master Bronson?”

“Soon she will be my wife, Mr. Hobat. I don’t have any experiences in leading a company anyway, so I can learn from her in the meantime.”

Jackob was silent for a moment, then he nodded his head perfectly. Actually he was so confused, after William ordered to abolish all cooperation between the Bronson company and the Amaris family, how could the heir of the Amaris family suddenly be ordered to lead the Bronson family company? Even more so, they will get married?

“Very well, Young Master Bronson. I will arrange everything for you. Is there anything else I should do, sir?”

“Yeah, I want the stock market to get moving now.”

“What do you mean, Young Master Bronson?”

“Crash the stock price of the Wiltson family company, put the company into a terrible crisis. As well as .…” William words halted. “Prepare a billion dollars for me, Mr. Hobat. I need it the day after tomorrow.”

“Very well, Young Master Bronson. I will do everything and prepare the money for you.”

William immediately hung up the phone, he smiled meaningfully again. So many things he had worked for so far, and he was confident enough to tear the lives of those who hurt him into pieces.
