William : Perfect Story of The Heir

This morning the Wiltson family residence was again hit by a terrible panic. Even Mrs. Wiltson and Mr. Wiltson summoned all family members to a meeting, William was no exception. Meanwhile, Isabella was currently busy applying for the position of director at the Bronson Group.

“This is crazy, the stock market is not doing well. Our family stock is experiencing an unimaginable crisis!”

Mrs. Wiltson, who had been talking a lot earlier, emphasized this many times, while all the family members just kept silent.

However, the children of the Wiltson family were very lazy people, they will never care about business and how to improve the company. All they needed was to have a good time and earn a lot of money, they never cared about the business matters.

“The only company that can help us is the company of the Amaris family and it has to do with marriage.  However, I just heard the news that the famous Amaris company has lost a colleague forever.”

“There won’t be a problem for the Amaris family to lose a colleague right? They are a giant company and they have a lot of money. I’m sure they’ll never go bankrupt.”

“You guys are wrong. This colleague was a valuable colleague. Because this colleague was one of the permanent colleagues who was able to elevate their company to become the most advanced company in this country. Who doesn’t know the Bronson Group? And now the Bronson Group is hiring for the position of  director. If we can take that position, then become a new colleague for the Bronson Group, I’m sure we will rival The Amaris family and won’t need The Amaris anymore.”

“Shouldn’t you be focusing on your nearly bankrupt company, Mrs. Wiltson?”

“Shut up, William!”

William finally returned to silence, he was not part of this family. But he was invited to help them think about this problem. When he had an idea, none of his ideas were taken, in fact he was considered a hooligan.

“Mike, tomorrow you have to come to the Bronson family company. Make a proposal for a business bid with their company.”

“I’m not sure if we can, Mom. The problem is that our company and The Bronsons’ are on different levels. Moreover, even The Amaris’ company was thrown. Then how about our company?”

“What’s wrong with trying? I’ll give you what you’ve always wanted if you manage to do it.”

“Make me the director of the company?” Mike said.

His mother immediately nodded her head perfectly. “Fine, I’ll give that position to you.”

Mike just smiled, he personally had absolutely no intention of succeeding.

“No, Mom. I can’t. You have to ask Wilona or Janet, they are older than me and they have more experience.”

“I don’t want to be humiliated and belittled. So, I don’t want to.” Janet denied, annoyed.

“What’s wrong with you guys? I told you if our company is in crisis. If you guys just sit back and do nothing, we could lose this company forever. Do you want to lose our treasure? Why aren’t any of you reliable?”

“Why don’t Mom and Dad tell William to do it? Isn’t he the eldest son in this house?”

William looked at Mike with a shocked expression on his face, while Mike looked at William fiercely.

“When there’s something good, you’d say that I’m just an adopted child. Why do you suddenly think of me as part of this family now? Sorry, but no. I’m not interested in your business.”

“You have to, William.”

Mr. Wiltson immediately said, William glared in disbelief. How could he?

“You are the son of this family, and now you can prove how you can repay us. Tomorrow, come to the Bronson Group and fight for our family name there.”

Mr. Wiltson was actually doubtful, very doubtful, because even William did not have a good education background and also did not understand business matters.  It was just that Mr. Wiltson didn’t want his children to be publicly humiliated. So, he had to offer William. Because even if William were to be humiliated, it would not affect him at all.

“I don’t think I can, Dad.”

“What’s wrong with trying? Do it tomorrow, or we will really mince you if you continue to argue our words.”

“Okay, I’ll do it, but I can’t promise to be able to succeed.”

William finally spoke up, until he had a good enough idea to make the Wiltson family really fall into his hands completely.

This afternoon the atmosphere of the city streets was very lively, four-wheeled vehicles packed the entire scene. There were those who were running because they were almost late entering the office, there were also mothers who were busy pushing their children’s trolleys.

And here William was, standing in front of a gigantic building that he didn’t even expect that he was the rightful owner. William still thought that it was a dream.

He came to carry out the task Mr. Wiltson gave him, but he already had his own ideas.

“Pardon, who are you and what do you need, sir?”

“My name is William Robert Wiltson, I would like to meet Mr Hobat.  If he’s there, tell him that there is a guest who wants to meet him.”

“Forgive us, sir. Mr. Hobat is such a busy man, he couldn’t be bothered by anyone. If you ever want to meet, be sure to make an appointment a few days in advance. And usually Mr. Hobat will only meet certain people, not someone like … you.”

Those words clearly showed mockery, and William knew and understood that very well. It was obvious that he was not respected at all.

“If I show you this, can it shut your mouths up?”

The security guard immediately fell silent, their mouths tightly closed. They had absolutely no idea that the beggar in front of them was the black card holder of the company where they worked. Where the black card became an absolute identity if the person holding it was the heir of the Bronson family business empire.

They all immediately bowed perfectly, cold sweat immediately flooded their bodies.

“F … forgive us, Young Master Bronson. We had absolutely no idea that you were Young Master Bronson. All this time, we did know that Mr. Bronson’s last and only grandchild was abroad for education, and we had not met him at all. How ashamed we are for considering you, the owner of this company, to be a bum.”

“This time I will forgive you. But if one day you do the same thing again, I will not hesitate to fire you. If you guys are curious, at the grand hills hotel, there have been two security guards who have been fired because they treated me in such a rude way.”

“Forgive us, Young Master Bronson!”

“Now shut up and show me where Mr. Hobat is.”

“Yes sir!”

The security guard immediately brought William into the lobby. Everyone who saw William and the security guards who were so frightened felt strange.

“Young Master Bronson, please enter the special elevator.”

“No, I still don’t want my identity to be exposed now. I want to investigate each of my employees whether they share the same traits as you or not.”

“Very well, Young Master Bronson. Please.”

The security guard left William alone, William looked up again at the elevator in front of him. Then he saw the elevator that was beside him, the special elevator of the three elevators lined up there. The elevator was wrapped in gold, it was so luxurious that William was sure it was real gold. William could not calculate how much money he had so that his company and hotel could be built in this grandeur.

“I want to have fun after this.” William muttered in his excited spirit.

He entered the elevator, just as Isabella came out of the opposite elevator. Isabella frowned, trying to confirm if the figure was really William.

“William, why is he here?”

On the other hand, William seemed hesitant in taking a step. He was only told by security that the location of Jackob Hobat’s office was on the top floor and side by side with the office of the main director which had been vacant for several years.

William took a deep breath, then he called Jackob to make sure whether the man was really in the company or had gone somewhere.

“Mr. Hobat are you in the company?”

“Yes, Young Master Bronson. I have just arranged for the acceptance of Miss Amaris to become the director of this company, and I have already sent someone to prepare the room. I put Miss Amaris out of the main office, Young Master Bronson. Excuse me if you don’t like it, because it is tradition from Mr. Bronson that the chief director’s office is only to be occupied by the legitimate heirs of the Bronson family.”

“Very well, settle everything as you like, Mr Hobat.  I’m already very happy when you said that you want to comply with my request.”

“Oh yes, I have prepared the one billion dollar bill that Young Master Bronson asked. When do you think you will need it? I will send it to you whenever you want, Sir.”

“No need, I’m already at the company to get the money, and also I want to ask you one more thing.”

“Are you already in the company?”

“To be precise I’m already on the highest floor of the Bronson Group.”

“Okay, I’ll be right out, sir.”

“Thank you.”

They finally met, then Jackob invited William to enter into a room that was truly magnificent. The main room for the heirs of the Bronson Group, of course.

“This is Young Master Bronson’s room if Young Master Bronson wants to come to the company or decides to take over this company.”

Jackob explained while pressing a few buttons and then the door opened automatically.

It was majestic, even the distance from the guest chair and the room owner’s chair was really very wide and far away. The sofa that was there looked so soft and smooth, it was clear that the price was no joke.

William swallowed his saliva subconsciously as he looked at the room that was like a king’s room.

“So what should I do, Young Master Bronson?”

“Oh,” William finally spoke. “You’ve managed to destroy the Wiltson family’s stock price, haven’t you?”

“I have, now the Wiltson family company is really in a critical condition.”

“In the business world, what is the position of the Wiltson family company?”

“The Wiltson Family is in the top fifty as a powerful corporation in this country, Young Master Bronson.”

“I want to buy all the shares they own and replace them as ours. Let them continue to manage the company, as long as the company is completely ours.”

Jackob was silent again, he was quite appreciative of William’s strategy. It was just that taking over all the stock and destroying the Wiltson family was quite confusing for him. Wasn’t the Wiltson family the one who had taken care of him all this time?

“Very well, Young Master Bronson. I will do everything well. What else should I do, sir?”

“What about the Amaris family company after you stopped all kinds of cooperation with them?”

“They are still working hard to get an appeal and also an explanation as to why we did it.”

“Then what did you explain to them?”

“I only said that this is a personal matter.”

William gave two thumbs up then he smiled quite sweetly.

“The Wiltsons are a family that adopted me, indeed. But they have always treated me like a servant. Even when they went bankrupt, I was sent here to beg a cooperation with the Bronson family company. I know what they meant because I will be humiliated here. But they don’t know that I am the owner of this company.”

“I just found out, Young Master Bronson. Sorry if I’m late to pick you up. So, when are you going to leave a house where everyone is being mean to you?”

“In a moment, Mr Hobat. You have to give Miss Amaris a house, just tell her that the house is a company facility because she is the director. Then Miss Amaris and I will move into that house.”

“Very well, Young Master Bronson. I will prepare everything. Does Young Master Bronson not want to live in the main residence?”

“Later, wait until Miss Amaris and I get married, and I will tell her the truth. Oh yeah, how was the interview with her?”

“Everything is taken care of by Linda. Linda is the secretary at this company. I got a quite personal explanation from Linda, it seems that Miss Amaris was quite surprised because she was immediately accepted as the director of our company.”

“I’m sure she’ll be suspicious, but just ignore it. Because I’m sure she would never think I own this company.”

“Yes sir.”

“All right, it’s enough for now. I have to go back home to tell The Wiltsons about everything, and give them this one billion dollars to compensate them for taking care of me all these years.”

“Yes, Young Master Bronson. Do you need to be escorted?”

“No need.”
